Storyline

Martin starts a normal life with Julia in his former police partner Gorlitz's dacha, but Julia remains obsessed with her jail-born daughter Anna whom she was told died the same day, while Martin was told six days later. Falks must improvise when rival Geifel shows the ministry pictures of his wife Vera Kupfer with activists pastor Robert Wolff and his sister Nicole by claiming he posted her as infiltrator in the 'opposition', next demands she actually becomes one. Dunja lost Julia's trust and still disapproves of her relationship with Martin. Hans Kupfer wrestles increasingly with the contradictions between socialist ideals and GDR reality, dreaming of a Gorbatschow-like regime, protecting critical students found with 'subversive' literature. Falk forces the counselor to convince Vera adoption can save their marriage and selects Sonja (five) from the home. Working in a launderette, Julia bumps into Dr. Maiwald, who was present at Anna's birth. Falk warns her she'll by locked in psych ... Written by KGF Vissers
