This scene was inspired by the scene where Bick Benedict peacefully convinced a restaurant manager to allow Mexicans in the restaurant, before the situation gotten worse and Benedict was compelled to engage the manager in a brutal fight. The restaurants in the two films "reserve the right to refuse service to anyone".
