Storyline

It's been a week since Willem's horrible car accident, and even though the good news is that he managed to survive, on the other hand, the bad news is that the inoperable nerve damage in his spinal cord has paralysed the muscles responsible for smiling. As a result, Willem must now learn to adapt to a new reality, where a permanent smile glued on his face will follow him for the rest of his life. Thank God, you are alive Willem, after all, it's just a minor disability, isn't it? Written by Nick Riganas

Hidden gem!!

This movie had me laughing the full 9 minutes. At the same time I felt bad for The lead character. After the wreck, he loses his job at the funeral home because he can't quit smiling. You can't help but laugh but at the same time feel bad. Willem Defoe does a very good job and I think he was perfect for the role. There's a few twists and I don't want to ruin anything so give the short film a shot if you have the time.
