When Jericho gets in the builder's van and is driving away the radio is playing radio 1 which is at FM: 97.6 MHz - 99.7 MHz (UK)[1][2] 97.1 MHz (Jersey). But when we see the radio its on kiss 100.

Character error

When the first ballistic missile is fired from the submarine, the officer in charge refers to it as a "fish'" A fish is Navy slang for a torpedo. The torpedo runs in the water just like a fish, thus the name. No submariner would ever call a missile, such as the UGM-133 Trident II being fired here, by that name.

The Dutchman is clearly not Dutch. His accent is way off, and he mispronounces his own last name. Strook in Dutch is pronounced as the English "Stroke". Strook pronounced as in the movie would be "Stroek" in Dutch.

When the agent is thrown through the windshield during the car accident, he is shown in the overhead shot to be thrown about twenty feet in front of the car, out of the light of the headlights. In the next shot, shown from ground level, he is only about three feet in front of the car, and well illuminated by the headlights.

At 1:17, Jericho is being shown how to play a piano. Emma tells him to put up his hands on the keyboard, and he mimics her by using his right hand. The shot cuts to show her hand guiding his left hand to the keys, then back to show his right hand on the keys and his left hand back on his lap.

When Jerico slips the hook he fashions out of a piece of the car door trim through the metal grate separating the front and rear seats, the "hook" is only about 3/4' across.. When you next see the hook, after it's passed through the grate, the "hook" is now at almost a 90 degree angle.

Billy effortlessly carries $10 million in cash in a medium Dunhill bag. In reality, $1 million in $100 bills (the largest US currency denomination since 1969) weighs 20.4 pounds. So $10 million would weigh over 200 pounds and would require about 10 of the bags he used.

It is a physical impossibility to remotely launch a missile from a submarine.

It literally takes several different safe combinations, known to several different officers, to get the dozen or so physical keys that are then inserted and turned in a dozen different locations.

The sub also needs to go through specific evolutions to prepare for the launch of a missile, such as mandatory depth, speed, and trim limitations, not to mention the launch control must sequenced specific buttons and switches in specific ways at specific moments in a countdown process that takes AT LEAST 12 minutes to accomplish once power has been applied to the launch systems.

It would be IMPOSSIBLE to simple press a button on a remote computer and have a ship launched missile OF ANY KIND fire within seconds of a cold start.

When Bill Pope is attempting to evade his followers he gets in taxi cab and gives the driver directions then hands him a phone with the GPS activated. In London, where this sequence takes place, all Cab drivers are required to memorized all the streets in the city, so the cabbie would not have needed the GPS and also would not have taken Bill Pope to the wrong location and have been confused about it when they arrived.

In the scene with the submarine, the sub is identified as USS Virginia SSN743. In fact, the USS Virginia is SSN 774. SSN 743 is the USS Louisiana. In addition a SSN submarine does not have vertical missile tube. That would be a SSBN or SSGN.

Jericho cuts himself on a piece of glass from the side window of a fairly modern taxicab. Side windows are made from tempered glass, and shatter into little pieces when broken. There wouldn't have been a large piece sticking out for him to cut himself on.

When Wells and his crew arrive at London City Airport to apprehend the Dutchman, an aircraft is seen taking off in the background. It is quite clearly a wide-body with low-slung wings and four under-wing engines (e.g. Airbus 340). No such aircraft are approved for London City Airport. Due to noise abatement procedures - the airport is quite centrally placed - aircraft should be capable of steep approaches. The BAe 146/Avro Regional Jet types which can land at the airport have over-slung wings with an entirely different overall profile.

The missile that leaves the silo at the end is different than the one that is shown in flight that takes out the Super King Air.It is referred to as a cruise missile, but cruise missiles have fat, rounded bodies and a stubby little wings. This was a non-winged, slender missile. In addition, the launch facility was for an intercontinental ballistic missile, and not one for a cruise missile type.

Also, the missile travels from it's launch point to impacting the target in 90 seconds. Thus, it traveled at an average speed of 40 miles per minute, or 2,400 miles per hour. Cruise missiles have a maximum speed of 550 miles per hour.

Gasoline is very unlikely to ignite when a lit cigarette is tossed into it. Gasoline vapors could ignite in this scenario, but as it is freshly poured on a cold day, the amount of vapors would be negligible.

During the gun battle at the beginning of the movie when Pope fires the last round from his semi-automatic pistol, the side remains locked back, which is correct. However, you then hear the "click" of a firing pin falling. This is not correct. This would only be possible if the slide was released and then the trigger was pulled. The firing mechanism will not function with the slide back.

The engine start time is way off when the Dutchman is trying to leave in the Beechcraft Super King Air 300/350 near the end of the movie. From the first sound of the engine starting, until the aircraft is moving with both engines running, is only 9 seconds. In real life, starting both engines, even in a hurry, would require 75-90 seconds, and that's even cutting some corners.

The London Black Cab drivers do not need GPS to find a location. Anyone wanting a London Cab license spends years studying the street map of London and must pass rigorous testing to prove they can go to any address anywhere in the city from memory. Most people study two years or more to qualify.

The submarine firing the ballistic missile was identified as the USS Virginia SSN 774. An SSN such as Virginia does not carry ballistic missiles, they are attack submarines meant to counter other subs or surface ships. Ballistic missile carrying subs are SSBNs not SSNs.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

When the Doctor orders 150 mg of Hydroxyzine be given to Jerico while in the aircraft, the attendant that gives it as an IV push. This is evident by the immediate reaction to the drug by Jerico and by the fact that the syringe has no needle. This may be considered a mistake as, in common clinical practice, hydroxyzine is given intramuscularly (IM). The reason for this is that IV injections of the drug can cause hemolysis and local tissue necrosis. Given the setting, the medical team likely had few qualms about such side-effects and preferred the IV route for its rapid and reliable drug delivery.

Plot holes

Dr. Franks and Jericho are able to have a somewhat lengthy conversation, even though Jericho has just been sedated with 150 milligrams of intramuscular hydroxyzine, which is at least five times the usual dose. 25 milligrams of I.M. hydroxyzine, being the usual dose, makes a person very drowsy and disoriented, and can affect short term memory, making it somewhat difficult to carry on a conversation. So someone that has just been given 150 milligrams would pass out in a matter of minutes, and before hand they would be so disoriented they would not be able to carry on a conversation.

After the first chase, we learn that the victim was an undercover CIA agent. Who ought to have some way of contacting the British authorities and having them protect him.

It is plausible that the British trackers could think it was a quarrel within the anarchist group, but a single phone-call should tell them differently. Absurd that professional agents should not have this set up.
