Sex & Nudity

  • Season 1
  • Episode 1: It is discussed that three 19 year-olds had sex with a decapitated head.
  • Episode 3: A man calls a woman in the middle of the night, she tells him that she's not going to make sex noises, and neither is he.
  • Episode 4: Two men discuss howling at a woman after sex.
  • Episode 5: A man creates an attachment for toilets aimed at children to make them poop easier, the attachment makes unintentionally sexual remarks when the child poops. A woman and a man discuss it later.
  • Episode 10: Two men again discuss howling after sex, to increase the pleasure.
  • A man wakes up to a woman in just underwear. It is implied they just had sex. She then calls to her friend wearing the same, again, implying sex has just happened. The women leave, nothing else happens.
  • Season 2
  • Episode 2: To exonerate a client, a man fabricates a strange, fetish video called "Squat Cobbler." He goes into comical detail about how a man wears a costume and wiggles his butt in various pies for the pleasure of another man. It is then implied that they actually make this video for evidence.
  • Episode 7: At the very beginning, boy reads a Playboy magazine. Some nudity can be seen on magazine's cover.

Violence & Gore

  • The violence is graphic and brutal, but mostly comical compared to Breaking Bad.
  • Season 1
  • Episode 1: A video is shown (mostly off-screen) of three 19 year-olds cutting off a dead man's head and holding it up.
  • A young man gets hit by a car twice, without any injuries.
  • A man is held at gunpoint.
  • Episode 2: A man is held at gunpoint. A man is seen trying to clean blood off of the floor. A man breaks the legs of two others.
  • Episode 3: Threats of violence.
  • Episode 6: A man shoots two others, he is shot in return.
  • Episode 9: A man steals another man's weapons and punches him in the throat.
  • Episode 10: A man has a heart-attack and dies.
  • Season 2
  • Episode 4: Two men fighting. One man gets a punch in the face with blood spraying out of his mouth (In slow-motion). This scene are graphic.
  • Episode 6: Some moderate fighting.
  • Episode 9: A man gets a nervous breakdown and hits his head at a table. Blood is seen later on.
  • Episode 10: A man kills another man with a gun.


  • Contains language throughout like shit, hell, damn, bitch, etc. F-bombs are censored on TV but uncensored on Netflix and Blu-ray.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Season 1
  • Episode 1: A man is briefly interrogated about what drugs his interrogators sell. A man and a woman smoke a cigarette together.
  • Episode 2: A man is drunk and has a hangover. Drugs are briefly discussed.
  • Episode 3: A man claims he's drunk.
  • Episode 4: Two men do bong hits.
  • Episode 6: Lots of people casually drink at a bar. A man is likely drunk, and acts even more drunk. It's discussed that a man was an alcoholic.
  • Episode 9: A man sells lots of prescription pills.
  • Episode 10: Two scenes of casual drinking in a bar.
  • Much like Breaking Bad the plot heavily involves drug use and drug trafficking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The show is mostly funny and isn't very intense, frightening, or violent compared to Breaking Bad. However, there are some intense & emotional scenes scattered across the show. Especially Season 2 has some very intense moments.
  • Season 3, Episode 9: Kim Wexler falls asleep behind the wheel and crashes into a rock. The events are shown from her perspective meaning she starts to doze off and then the scene immediately jump cuts to her waking up to the air bag hitting her in the face. Very shocking and intense scene.
