SPOILER:At the end of the movie,it is found that Becky's boyfriend Goran Potsnik has been murdered some time ago, because his truck is hidden in the barn and covered in dust, giving us the idea that Becky killed him not long after she bought the house, which was 6 months before. In the movie Goran Potsnik is a professional soccer (football) player and a European one at that, pretty much making him a famous or well known person in Europe. Which makes it hard to believe that no one would have noticed he was missing and reported it. If a professional athlete was not heard from or seen in several months it would be all over the news.
