Avengers: Endgame Home Video Release May Include New Stan Lee Footage

I expect to feel a lot of emotions during Avengers: Endgame, but I’m betting the most tear-jerking moment won’t have anything to do with my favorite heroes biting the dust or the sacrifices needed to defeat Thanos. Nope, I think it’s going to be that final Stan Lee cameo.

It’s been confirmed that this will be his last on-screen appearance in the McU, and given that his cameos in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Captain Marvel hit me right in the feels, this is going to be a gut punch of epic proportions.

Fortunately, it seems that Marvel Studios are all too eager to give Lee the credit he deserves for helping create this wonderful cinematic universe. The cast has been effusive about their experiences with him on the red carpet for Avengers: Endgame‘s premiere, and now, it seems that the home video release may

Marvel Actors Pay Tribute To Stan Lee At Avengers: Endgame Premiere

Last night, the biggest stars of the McU attended the world premiere of Avengers: Endgame in Los Angeles. But before everyone was sat down for the long-awaited culmination of the McU’s first decade, many of the cast members took a moment to share some memories of the late Stan Lee.

Thor actor Chris Hemsworth, for instance, recalled how the renowned comic book creator had a “sort of child-like wonder,” an “infectious” energy and a “love for these stories.”

A few weeks back, I sat down with the Joe and Anthony Russo, the brother filmmaker team behind Captain America: Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and the upcoming conclusion to the Infinity Saga, Avengers: Endgame. ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Expected to Shatter Box Office Records

‘Avengers: Endgame’ Expected to Shatter Box Office Records
Avengers: Endgame” has its sights set on world domination.

Disney and Marvel’s upcoming superhero epic should light the box office on fire when it launches this weekend, with the hopes of setting domestic, international, and global records. In North America alone, “Avengers: Endgame” is expected to earn between $250 million and $268 million in its first three days of release. If it hits the higher part of that range it would qualify as the biggest domestic debut of all time, a distinction currently held by 2018’s “Avengers: Infinity War,” the precursor to “Endgame,” which launched with $257.7 million.

Advance ticket sales have been sky high for “Endgame,” so box office watchers are confident the grand conclusion to the current phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be one for the record books. At the very least, the opening weekend of “Endgame” will position itself as one of the best launches ever. Disney

Watch Every McU Post-Credits Scene Ahead Of Avengers: Endgame

“From the end credits to the endgame…”

All roads lead to this. After 10 years and 21 movies – Captain Marvel included – the Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to reach its first true climax in the form of Avengers: Endgame, a movie so big, theaters across the globe can barely keep up with the demand.

The McU juggernaut continues to smash pre-sale records, with analysts now predicting a suitably huge $300M opening weekend in North America alone. Frankly, no other film comes close, and with Endgame currently staging its world premiere in Los Angeles, Marvel Studios has collected every single McU post-credits scene and brought them together under the one umbrella: a Twitter thread.

‘Captain Marvel’ Crosses $400M at Box Office, Continuing to Prove Appeal of Underrepresented Origin Stories
As fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe gear up for this week’s sure-to-be shocking finale, “Avengers: Endgame,” it seems as if movie-goers are still boning up on the multi-billion-dollar franchise’s latest superhero story. Now in its seventh week of release, the Brie Larson-starring “Captain Marvel” continues to perform in big-time fashion. The Ryan Fleck- and Anna Boden-directed film just crossed the $400 million mark at the domestic box office, the seventh McU feature to accomplish such a feat during the series’ decade-long run. Also impressive: the film actually went up 6% from the previous week, signaling that Marvel fans are not only still turning out for the film, but perhaps taking in yet another watch before Larson and her cohorts appear in “Endgame.”

Like “Black Panther,” the film’s continued performance at the box office proves that, while most of the McU’s biggest wins have come from team-up films,

Marvel Shares Every Post-Credits Movie Scene Including Captain Marvel's as Avengers: Endgame Draws Near

In anticipation of the release of Avengers: Endgame, Marvel has shared every post-credits scene from all of their films, including Captain Marvel.

It’s actually kind of fun rewatching these. Some of them I haven’t seen in years. Usually when I rewatch these films I skip the post-credits. I love how Marvel has used these little treats to excite the fans for what is to come at the end of each of their films.

My favorite part about them is seeing the audience’s reactions to them and the fan discussion and speculation that always follows.

Before sharing the post-credits videos, Marvel tweeted out the following comment: “From the end credits to the endgame...” Watch all of the post-credits scene below and let us know what your favorite one was!

Captain Marvel Is Now The 25th Highest Grossing Movie Of All Time

With Avengers: Endgame just a few days away from reaching cinemas, now feels like a good time to check back in with Captain Marvel, which is currently at the tail end of a triumphant run in theaters.

At the time of writing, the global gross of Carol Danvers’ solo debut sits at a hefty $1,089,526,133, having recently passed the $400 million mark domestically. These figures make Captain Marvel the 7th highest grossing film of the McU, falling behind only the three Avengers movies, Black Panther, Iron Man 3 and Captain America: Civil War. On top of that, the flick now stands as the 25th highest grossing feature of all time, just beating out The Dark Knight Rises over the weekend.

Interestingly, the movie’s last three days actually saw Captain Marvel do a little better domestically than it did on the weekend before, jumping up from $8.6 to $9.1 million. Perhaps filmgoers are keen

McU Timeline Shifts as ‘Spider Man: Far From Home’ Confirmed as Phase Three Finale, Not ‘Endgame’

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has kept the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline under lock and key in the lead up to this weekend’s “Avengers: Endgame,” but he did surprise fans at a recent fan event in Shanghai (via Newsweek) by confirming that “Endgame” is not the last chapter in Phase Three of the McU. The upcoming “Spider Man: Far From Home,” set for release this July, is actually the final installment of Phase Three, which began with “Captain America: Civil War” in 2016 and has included such beloved McU entries as “Black Panther” and “Thor: Ragnarok.”

Feige would not speak on the matter outside of responding to a “Far From Home” question by saying, “It’s the end of the third phase.” The executive added this was the first time he was confirming publicly that this nugget of information was confirmed. McU fans have been wondering about the future of the movie universe following “Endgame,

New Avengers: Endgame Poster Promises to Do Whatever It Takes to Win

New Avengers: Endgame Poster Promises to Do Whatever It Takes to Win
One of the latest Avengers: Endgame posters proves Earth's Mightiest Heroes are going to do whatever it takes to win as they take on Thanos again. It was done by artist Eileen Steinbach and it features the original six Avengers along with their dusted counterparts, but in a very interesting and unique way. Bruce Banner, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow and Thor are all seen in silhouette-form as they march into the unknown, but it's their shadows, which tell the rest of the story here.

Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man, Winter Soldier, Nicky Fury, and Loki are all attached to their corresponding Avengers as their shadow in Eileen Steinbach's Avengers: Endgame poster. It's a clever and effective piece of artwork, which highlights the loss that the team and world has gone through after Thanos was able to complete his plan to bring balance by Decimating half of the universe.

Linda Cardellini Hints At Hawkeye’s Wife Returning In Avengers: Endgame

Next week’s Avengers: Endgame will see the long-awaited return of Hawkeye. And with the famed archer set to make his first McU appearance since 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, there’s every possibility that his family will also get some screen time in the Phase 3 finale.

Linda Cardellini, for instance, made her franchise debut in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron as Clint’s wife Laura Barton. Though the Green Book actress has yet to get a second outing in the McU, it’s long been a popular theory that she and her three children were among the victims of Thanos’ snap, pushing Hawkeye to embrace his dark side in his new Ronin persona.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Cardellini was asked if the upcoming film has such a tragedy in store, to which she offered the following coy response:

The Marvel Movies Debrief - Thor: Ragnarok Recap, Legacy, and McU Connections

The Thor franchise gets a new lease of life thanks to Taika Waititi, who gives the God of Thunder his best McU showcase yet

This article contains spoilers for Thor: Ragnarok and the wider McU.

"Life is about growth; it's about change..."

With Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in full swing, having already introduced a couple of major new characters and raised the stakes for the Earth-bound Avengers (in Captain America: Civil War), it was time for the Mighty Thor's third big-screen outing. It's fair to say, though, that the God of Thunder was in need of a bit of a rethink after his largely soulless second adventure, The Dark World. As Chris Hemsworth's Asgardian hero tells his up-to-his-old-tricks brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston), sometimes a change can do you good...

The man tasked by Marvel with leading that change was Taika Waititi. And change things he did.

Jeremy Renner Says Stan Lee Will Be Watching Avengers: Endgame With Us

In November of last year, legendary comic book creator Stan Lee passed away, and to a certain extent, the upcoming Avengers: Endgame will stand as one big, 3-hour tribute to the writer’s legacy. In fact, if you ask Jeremy Renner, the man will in some ways be right there with us next week as we make that trip to the theater.

As part of the press tour for the Avengers: Infinity War sequel, the Hawkeye actor stopped by Seoul, South Korea, where he was interviewed by Cna. When asked what he thought Lee’s reaction would be watching the McU’s Phase 3 finale, Renner offered the following response:

“He’s going to be watching it, brother. He’s watching it. He’s in all of us. He’s going to be watching it.”

No doubt Lee will be on the mind of many filmgoers as they go to see next week’s release,
