The Suspense Builds
20 April 2018 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

More murders take place as the islanders are diminished. Of course, the poem can't be followed to the letter, so whoever is doing this is using a bit of poetic license (so to speak). Vera is starting to unravel. We are brought into some of the specifics of those who are accused. Emily Brent may be the worst of all for all her self righteousness and judgment. Her leaving a young woman to die in the cold rain is horrible. The central focus is Lombard's gun which has disappeared causing those still alive to trash the entire mansion. Great suspense and wonderful acting.
