You can't skip when you're stuck behind a desk asking mundane questions
Stand up comedians hosting chat shows are all the rage over in the US so you can't really blame the BBC for wanting to try to crack the formula again over here. Graham Norton did is successfully, why couldn't Michael McIntyre?
There are lots of reasons why as it turns out. Not only does McIntyre seem awkward interviewing his so-called idols but he also either asks pointless questions (not really his fault) or waiting to make a joke out of the answers he is given.
There has only been one series of this show and I think it was easy to tell why. McIntyre is good at what he does, but this, much like his foray into talent show judging haven't been smart moves.
