Trivia

Jack makes a comment about Beth dressing sexy (wearing her blouses unbuttoned) and wearing red nail polish. As a sworn member of the LAPD, she would be required to comply with policy 605.10, personal appearance. This directive requires sworn members to be dressed in a department uniform or business attire. Additionally, under policy 605.30, female members in plain clothes assignments may only wear fingernail polish that is professional and businesslike in color. Also under 605.30, as a sworn member, Jack's perpetual stubble is a violation as sworn members on duty are required to be clean shaven.

The above policies were clearly violated for entertainment purposes. See more »

Goofs

As is often the case in TV police shows, a detective cannot transfer from one agency to another. The process would involve resigning from one and being hired by another. Since the position of detective is not an entry-level one, the officer would need to begin as a patrol officer and then advance to detective. See more »

Love this show
9 February 2015 | by infinitesoulsSee all my reviews

The soundtrack is amazing. I love all the different songs they have chosen and redone in different versions. They really set the mood for the show and I love the different story lines. This show is so bold in so many different aspects. I also like how the characters are a bit like an onion as time goes on you get to learn more and more about them and see how they interact with each other.

There are parts where you want to look away or find out what is going to happen next. Like there are parts where your just waiting to learn more about the main characters and it really starts to pick up later in the series.
