Captain Marvel Post-Credits Scene With Goose Released Online

As per the tradition, the recent Captain Marvel featured two post-credits scenes, one of which paved the way for Carol Danvers’ appearance in Avengers: Endgame, while the other served as a last-minute gag based around a new fan favorite.

The first of these two bonus sequences – in which Captain Marvel arrives at the Avengers Compound – was officially released online last month in the lead-up to Endgame. Now, it seems that Marvel is finally ready to share the second post-credits scene, and while there’s not a whole lot going on in this clip, a little bit of Goose can go a long way.

As it stands, this short scene of Goose throwing up the Tesseract is the most recent point in the McU timeline to feature Carol’s feline friend, raising the question of what exactly she’s been doing for the last couple of decades. In an interview last month with Fandango,

Black Widow Movie May Finally Reveal What Happened In Budapest

The upcoming Black Widow prequel appears to be set to clear up one of the longest-running mysteries in the McU: what the heck happened in Budapest? Nat and Hawkeye have been referencing this apparently highly significant mission in their lives ever since 2012’s The Avengers and it seems that Scarlett Johansson’s first Marvel solo movie will finally give us all the details.

Hn Entertainment is reporting that Black Widow is locked in to shoot in Budapest, Hungary. Now, obviously, any location can fill in for somewhere completely different via the magic of film, so there’s a slim chance this might not reveal anything about the storyline. However, given how much we’ve been teased about Budapest in the past, it seems like a good bet that it’ll factor into the movie as we get to explore how Natasha Romanoff switched sides to S.H.I.E.

Exclusive Interview – Visual Effects Supervisor Stuart Penn on Avengers: Endgame

Harrison Abbott chats with Avengers: Endgame Visual Effects Supervisor Stuart Penn

Having contributed to the dazzling special effects of Guardians of the Galaxy, Iron Man 3 and The Dark Knight, Stuart Penn is no stranger to big screen comic-book extravaganzas. That being said, he’s dipped his toes into plenty of other genres over the years, including sleek sci-fis (Alien: Covenant), epic fantasies (King Arthur: The Legend of the Sword) and even lovable family flicks (Paddington 2).

His borad expertise and vast technical knowledge make him one of the most sought after minds in his field. An asset to any project he gets involved in, he has rightly gained a lot of attention for his award-winning work on Gravity, where he drew upon his background as a physicist in order to pioneer groundbreaking motion control technology. Did we mention he also has a PhD? Because, yeah, he has a PhD.

The Female Avengers Assemble In Awesome New Endgame Bts Photo

One of the most talked-about moments of Avengers: Endgame was the climactic team-up between the McU’s female stars. And in a new pic shared by Marvel Studios, we see the “A-Force” line-up rallied together for a behind-the-scenes photo.

Bookending the team are co-directors Anthony and Joe Russo, along with executive producer Trinh Tran. Starting from the far left, the stars include Danai Gurira of Okoye fame and Scarlet Witch actress Elizabeth Olsen, the latter of whom is set to reprise her role in the upcoming WandaVision TV show.

One star who looks to have ended her run in the McU, meanwhile, is Gwyneth Paltrow, who finally got to suit up in the Rescue armor in her presumed final outing. Next up is Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, who’s expected to return for her own solo sequel. After that, comes Evangeline Lilly as the Wasp, followed by Letitia Wright as Shuri.

Avengers: Endgame’s opening scene was originally part of Avengers: Infinity War

Jeremy Renner fans were left a little disappointed last year when Clint Barton rather surprisingly sat out the events of Avengers: Infinity War, the Russo brothers opting to keep Hawkeye back for this year’s follow-up Avengers: Endgame rather than trying to force him in to an already stacked cast.

As it happens however, Hawkeye did almost make an appearance in Infinity War, as Joe Russo has revealed that Endgame’s opening scene where Clint’s family fall victim to The Decimation was originally part of last year’s film:

“We were originally going to include that at the end of Infinity War. Hawkeye wasn’t going to be in the film, and then at the end when Thanos snaps his fingers, we were going to cut to black and then come up on a family picnic at Barton’s house. We wanted the audience to be confused. ‘Why are we here,

Marvel's A-Force Assembles: Female Avengers Unite in Endgame Set Photo

Marvel's A-Force Assembles: Female Avengers Unite in Endgame Set Photo
The highlight of Avengers: Endgame is the final battle scene and Marvel Studios has just released a new behind-the-scenes image from it. One of the many parts that sticks out during the intense battle against Thanos and his army is when the female group comes together to help Captain Marvel. While some have labeled that particular scene as pandering, a lot of Marvel Cinematic Universe fans were very happy about the inclusion and as screenwriters Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus say, they only put it in because it was too awesome to leave out.

The Avengers: Endgame image features Danai Gurira as Okoye, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts/Rescue, Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne/Wasp, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, and Karen Gillan as Nebula. The Original Ant-Man And Wasp Almost Appeared In Avengers: Endgame’s Final Battle

The grand finale battle of Avengers: Endgame brings together each and every hero from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Avengers, the Guardians, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange…even Howard the Duck. There are two notable exceptions, though: Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, the original Ant-Man and the Wasp. Sure, the duo are retired, but they still have their superhero suits from the old days. So why didn’t they lend a hand when the fate of the universe hung in the balance?

In a feature on what was cut from the battle, The Guardian reports that writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely originally thought about including Pym and Van Dyne but ultimately elected to remove them from the third act. It was thought that there were just too – or, specifically, two – many costumed characters to keep track of if they were on board.

You can understand why Markus and

Keanu Reeves Says He Still Wants To Play Wolverine For Marvel

Keanu Reeves’ career has been on a “most excellent” upswing over the past few years. The actor, who spent most of his post-Matrix career awkwardly popping up in romantic comedies or starring in critically panned genre films (47 Ronin anyone?), stunned audiences everywhere with the surprise 2014 hit John Wick. Now, just five years and two John Wick sequels later, Reeves is once more a Hollywood darling and may be ready to take on the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In a recent Interview with BuzzFeed, Reeves was asked which Marvel or DC character he would love to play on the big screen, and the actor actually had an answer ready:

“When I was a kid, I always wanted to play Wolverine. So, Wolverine.”

Avengers: Endgame Directors Reveal Why They Sidelined Captain Marvel

Before Avengers: Endgame hit theaters, Captain Marvel was the biggest movie in the world and fans couldn’t wait to see more of Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers in the Infinity War sequel, as we all expected her to be a big part of the final act of the Infinity Saga after showing us how powerful she was in Cm. It was kind of a surprise, then, when the heroine had a pretty small role in the grand scheme of things.

She turns up early on to save Tony and Nebula and then accompanies the heroes to Titan II but disappears again and for some reason, doesn’t join the Avengers on their Time Heist. She does return for the grand finale, though, joining the assembled Marvel universe to battle Thanos’ troops.

When asked why they kept her sidelined for so much of the film, co-directors Joe and Anthony Russo

Marvel Rumored To Be Developing A New Avengers Movie

Given what happened in Avengers: Endgame, there’s now a ton of speculation on what comes next for the McU. As everything built up to the conclusion of the Infinity Saga and the last outing in Phase Three, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Kevin Feige and co. have been keeping quiet about what’s to come in the next few years. Sure, we know they’re working on new projects like The Eternals and sequels like Captain Marvel 2, but as of yet, there’s been no official reveal of the Phase Four slate.

One project that’s been heavily rumored though is a New Avengers movie, and a recent leak is once again telling us that Marvel’s indeed working on it and the film could be with us as soon as May 6th, 2022. Of course, given that this is an unverified leak, we advise taking it with a major grain of salt,

Here’s What The McU’s Phase 4 Line-Up May Look Like

Following Avengers: Endgame, there’s a whole lot of speculation about what’s next for the McU in Phase Four. As everything built up to the conclusion of the Infinity Saga and the last film of Phase Three, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Marvel has been keeping quiet about what’s coming over the following few years. Obviously, we know they’re working on new projects like The Eternals and sequels like Captain Marvel 2, but there’s been no official release of the upcoming slate as of yet.

That hasn’t stopped industry insider John Campea from giving us his best shot at working out what Disney’s release schedule looks like though for Marvel movies up until 2022. All of the following dates have been confirmed to apply to the McU, but the specific films that’ll drop on those dates are currently unknown. Based on how far the various projects are along the pre-production scale,

Petition To Remake Game Of Thrones Season 8 Sparks Major Backlash

There are two sure signs a TV show is either doing something very right, or very wrong. First, with each passing week, it tops the trending hashtags on Twitter. And second, petitions are drafted demanding everyone be fired and the series remade. Game of Thrones, it seems, has all of those problems and then some this season.

The penultimate episode, “The Bells” aired this past Sunday and some viewers just couldn’t take it anymore. At the time of this writing, over 665,000 to be exact. Over on Change.org, a petition has been created with one sole purpose. I quote: “Remake Game of Thrones Season 8 with competent writers.” Now, restoring some of my hope in humanity, Twitterers have started throwing their two cents in on the controversy, and these fans aren’t having any of the petition.

I get it. Writers have rushed GoT‘s final season. Seven runs of brilliant character development squashed.

Martin Scorsese on Getting The "Youthification" CGI Work in The Irishman To Look Right

Martin Scorsese’s next film is The Irishman and it is going to feature a lot of CGI work and that CGI work involves making stars Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci and Harvey Keitel look years younger. The story for the film spans decades, and instead of re-casting younger actors to plays these characters, Scorsese opted to de-age them with CGI technology.

During a recent interview on the A24 Podcast, Scrosese opens up about the issues that he’s been having with this “youthification” process.

“There’s a great deal of CGI because we’re doing this ‘youthification’ of De Niro, Pesci and Al Pacino, and so they had to be CGI. There had to be a camera with three lenses and [it] was just crazy.”

He wants to make sure that the final result of this youthification looks right and it sounds like it’s driving him a little crazy,

Grumpy Cat, Viral Internet Sensation, Dies at 7
Grumpy Cat, whose perpetually sad expression launched a thousand memes, has died at age seven, her owner Tabatha Bundesen reported Friday morning on the star’s official Twitter page.

The cat, whose given name was Tardar Sauce, “passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, May 14, at home in the arms of her mommy, Tabatha,” Bundesen wrote.

“Despite care from top professionals, as well as from her very loving family, Grumpy encountered complications from a recent urinary tract infection that unfortunately became too tough for her to overcome,” she added.

Bundesen, a resident of Morristown, Arizona, had attributed her constant frown and small kittenlike size to feline dwarfism.
