Natasha's Story Technically Wraps Up in Avengers: Endgame, but There's Still More to Learn

Warning: now you know this post is full of spoilers for Avengers: Endgame. Don't read any further if you don't want to read them!

We first meet Natasha "Nat" Romanoff in 2010's Iron Man 2, the sequel to the film that kicked off the McU. Of course, back then she was masquerading as Natalie Rushman, Tony Stark's new personal assistant, with a head full of red curls and the ability to flip a man twice her size without breaking a sweat. When Nick Fury arrives to reveal that she's actually a S.H.I.E.L.D agent - which explains why such a badass would want to be Tony Stark's personal assistant in the first place - it sets the tone for the beginning of the McU and our love for Scarlett Johansson's Russian spy.

Nat is one of the first Avegners introduced in the McU, and she's

After Over a Decade in the McU, Tony Stark's Story Valiantly Wraps Up in Avengers: Endgame

Warning: So Many spoilers ahead, you guys! Tons! Proceed with caution.

My first introduction to superheros was through Tobey Maguire's Peter Parker in 2002's Spider-Man. I couldn't get enough. Fun and funny and full of heart, Peter is the hopeful, idealized embodiment of what a young superhero should be: wide-eyed and giddy about his new powers. Those traits are also what makes Tom Holland's updated take on Marvel's iteration of the web-slinging hero such a fantastic foil for the prickly, cynical, sarcastic Tony Stark. No offense to Peter, but it wasn't until seeing the "genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist" played by Robert Downey Jr. in 2008's Iron Man that I truly fell in love with superhero films and superheroes in general.

The electricity and biting humor Downey Jr. brings to the role carved out an exciting new niche for both his career and the future of Marvel's blossoming cinematic universe.

These Are the Time Travel Rules of ‘Avengers: Endgame

These Are the Time Travel Rules of ‘Avengers: Endgame
(Major spoilers ahead for “Avengers: Endgame,” because this post is generally geared toward people who have already seen the movie. So if you haven’t seen it yet and you don’t want to know about this stuff, you should leave now.)

That incredibly dramatic cliffhanger at the “Avengers: Infinity War” sparked a year of endless speculation about how in the world could Captain America and Iron Man and the rest of our heroes fix this situation. Thanos murdered half the population of the universe. What could possibly be done about this?

The answer, as we all suspected, was time travel.

Avengers: Endgame Ending Explained

Kayti Burt Mike Cecchini Apr 25, 2019

The Avengers: Endgame ending might seem a little confusing and...well, it is. We're here to help.

This article consists of nothing but massive Avengers: Endgame spoilers. You’ve been warned. We have a completely spoiler free review right here.

Avengers: Endgame, like any other movie dealing with time travel, can be a little confusing when it’s time to wrap things up. The more you think about how time travel works in this movie, the more it makes your head hurt. But, since you’re already here at this article, it’s probably too late for you anyway. Fortunately, the time travel elements only directly affect the endings of Thanos, Tony Stark, and Steve Rogers, while whatever is next for Thor, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and the rest of the gang is relatively straightforward.

But you can’t really deal with the Avengers: Endgame

Avengers: Endgame – Review

It may be the last weekend of April, but the Summer movie onslaught has officially begun. Who says so? Marvel Studios, that’s who. And they’ve got the clout after being around a few weeks shy of eleven years. Originally the first Friday of May was their “beachhead”, but that was switched (concerns over piracy and early international openings) to this weekend last year for Avengers: Infinity War (Aiw). That film was to be the focal point of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (McU) ten-year celebration. However, as most fans will soon discover, the celebration really ends on a high, stratospheric really, note with this colossal entertainment extravaganza. Gosh, I sound a bit like that much beloved comic book “carnie’ barker” we lost in November. Aw, why not go “all in” and try to mimic “The Man”? Here goes…face front true believers, it’s kickoff time for Avengers: Endgame!

According to This Wild Endgame Theory, Thanos's Snap Didn't Do What We All Think

  • Popsugar
It seems like it was only yesterday when Marvel broke our hearts into itty-bitty pieces in Avengers: Infinity War, not unlike what became of half of the Avengers after Thanos's snap. With the arrivals of Ant-Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel, we get closer to figuring out what's going to unfold in Endgame. The widely anticipated movie will show the Avengers figuring out a way to bring back their friends and defeat Thanos once and for all. Which is to say, we're going into the film with the assumption that Thanos wiped out half of the living population in the universe - that half of the superheroes we know and love are gone.

But what if no one is actually dead? The Marvel Cinematic Universe is so deeply entrenched in mystical magic and science fiction that this isn't too far of a leap to make. Read on to explore

There’s Now An App To Tell You When To Take A Bathroom Break During Avengers: Endgame

Avengers: Endgame certainly isn’t the only blockbuster from this century to exceed the 3-hour mark (Peter Jackson alone has released two – and that’s only counting the theatrical cuts), but if the idea of sitting still for almost 181 minutes sounds like a strain on the bladder, then there’s one app than might help you out.

The RunPee App was created by Dan Gardner as a means of helping fans to find the perfect time to take a bathroom break. The app’s website describes the product as follows:

“We’ve all been there, enjoying a movie, when nature calls. It starts with a whisper, then becomes a shout. Before you know it, you’re not watching the movie so much as watching for a chance to make a mad dash to the restroom. The RunPee app takes the guesswork out of this for you. We watch every wide

Avengers: Endgame already breaking box office records with its first day

The biggest film of the year – and possibly ever – began its international rollout on Wednesday, and given that it’s tracking an unprecedented worldwide opening weekend as high as a billion dollars, it will come as little surprise to hear that Avengers: Endgame is already shattering records.

By close of play on its first day, Endgame amassed $169 million from 24 markets, including a record-breaking first day in China where it pulled in a whopping $107.5 million (that’s also the second-biggest ever day in any single market after Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ $119.1 million North American haul in 2015).

Endgame was above the opening numbers for Avengers: Infinity War in all 24 markets and is on course for an international opening weekend of $700 million or more, including $300 million from China. Assuming it also tops Infinity War’s record $257.7 million opening in North America, we may very well have our first movie to score a

Record-shattering debuts for ‘Avengers: Endgame’

Avengers: Endgame

The 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise and the finale to the Avengers saga is smashing box office records in Australia and around the world.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame racked up $10.27 million on Wednesday and $9.87 million on 315 locations yesterday, according to Numero.

The Wednesday figure was the highest single day of all time, 8 per cent up on Star Wars: The Force Awakens , which opened on a Tuesday, and 17 per cent bigger than Avengers: Infinity War, which bowed on a Thursday.

Wednesday also marked the market’s biggest single day in history with $11.46 million, beating last year’s Anzac Day peak of $11.3 million. The film’s Thursday haul was a record for that day.

So the movie produced by Kevin Feige and scripted by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely will eclipse Star Wars’ record $27.2 million first weekend and the previous Avengers’ $21.2 million.

Does ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Have a Post-Credits Scene?
With the long-awaited “Avengers: Endgame’ finally hitting theaters, fans will finally get to see how the remaining Avengers come together and assemble to fight Thanos and undo the terrible snap from “Avengers: Infinity War” that killed half of all life in the universe.

It’s a big moment for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the culmination of the first 11 years of movies and the ending of a plot that began way back in the first “Avengers” movie back in 2012. But the McU will go on after this, first with “Spider-Man: Far From Home” this July and then with two more films next year and on and on. So after “Endgame” finally ends, one of the biggest questions for fans will be, simply, “What’s next?”

It’s a tradition for McU films to include some kind of bonus scene during and/or after the credits to tease what’s coming or

When Will the Fox Superhero Characters Join the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

  • The Wrap
Now that the Disney-Fox merger has closed and “Avengers: Endgame” is finally opening in theaters, when could fans expect to see Fox characters like Wolverine and the X-Men join the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

“It’ll be a while,” Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige told io9 during the recent “Avengers: Endgame” press junket, when asked about bringing the X-Men into the McU.

“It’s all just beginning and the five-year plan that we’ve been working on, we were working on before any of that was set. So really it’s much more, for us, less about specifics of when and where [the X-Men will appear] right now and more just the comfort factor and how nice it is that they’re home. That they’re all back. But it will be a very long time.”

Sorry, Folks! Avengers: Endgame Won't Be on Netflix For a Very Good Reason

There are so many spoilers about Avengers: Endgame that it's hard to answer most questions about the movie without stumbling into spoiler territory. Luckily, there's at least one lingering question about the biggest Marvel movie to date that we actually can answer. Even before you see the movie, this is safe territory. The question: after it leaves theaters, will Avengers: Endgame be available for streaming on Netflix?

For the past several years, a deal between Disney and Netflix has allowed some of the biggest blockbusters to be available on the streaming platform. The past few Marvel movies, including Black Panther, Thor: Ragnarok, and Avengers: Infinity War, have all been part of this deal and are still watchable on Netflix. Major Disney releases, from recent films like Beauty and the Beast and Coco to old classics like Mulan and The Emperor's New Groove, have also been part of the deal. By

Avengers: Endgame Passes Star Wars: The Force Awakens As Fandango’s Biggest Pre-Seller

Avengers: Endgame is now just a few hours away from arriving in North American theaters, and if the film’s phenomenal pre-sales are anything to go by, Anthony and Joe Russo’s latest work is set to do some ridiculous numbers at the box office this weekend.

In fact, according to Fandango’s managing editor Erik Davis, the Avengers: Infinity War sequel is now the biggest pre-seller in the ticket retailer’s history, beating out Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the title. On top of that, the movie has managed to sell out a record-breaking 8,000 showtimes. In a tweet from earlier today, Davis also offered a reminder that Endgame broke the first-day pre-sales record previously held by The Force Awakens (a feat that the film accomplished in a mere six hours) and outsold Infinity War at a ratio of 5:1 in its first week.

Fandango isn’t the only
