Marvel films on superheroes in different sizes

Marvel Studios want their films to "reflect audiences all over the globe that are cheering" their work. Though they are going big on diversity, they are yet to have a plus-size superhero or someone who doesn't have an envious physique. But this might change "sooner than you think", says Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. Chris Hemsworth, Brie Larson, and Chris Evans are some of the Hollywood stars who have donned the superhero costume for Marvel Cinematic Universe (McU). It's not just their special skills or superpowers that fans across the world are in love with, but also their jaw-dropping figures.?

When Ians asked would Marvel like to introduce superheroes who don't possess the "perfect figure", Feige said here with a laugh: "Yes, I would because then maybe I can be a superhero."

Superheroes generally come in figure-enhancing tights. Doesn't he feel they are being stereotyped?

"Traditionally, if you look at

‘Llorona’ Lucrative On Thursday Night With $2.75M In Previews
Before Avengers: Endgame snatches away the under 25 demo next weekend, Warner Bros. is looking to hook them over the Easter weekend with New Line’s James Wan produced horror pic The Curse of La Llorona, which made $2.75M last night from previews that started at 6Pm.

That figure is slightly higher than the $2.3M that Paramount’s Pet Sematary posted in previews two weeks ago, as well as Escape Room‘s $2.3M Thursday night back on Jan. 3 and the Wan produced 2016 horror pic Lights Out ($1.8M). On the Thursday after Labor Day last year, The Nun previews rang up a record Thursday night for The Conjuring universe with $5.4M off 7Pm showtimes.

Llorona is billed as being from The Conjuring producers Wan and The Nun Ep and Annabelle scribe Gary Dauberman. It is not a part of that genre series universe. Warners is hoping those credits on the Llorona one

Here’s Your First Look At Scooby-Doo In Upcoming Reboot Scoob

Scooby-Dooby-Doo, where are you? Well, right here, actually, as our first look at the classic cartoon character’s redesign for the upcoming animated movie reboot of Mystery Inc.’s adventures has leaked online.

Unlike the live-action films from 2002 and 2004, which some felt featured a Scooby that was weirder-looking than the monsters, the reboot – titled Scoob – will star a very traditional take on the loveable talking dog. As well as looking the same as ever, Scooby will sound the same as ever, too, as he’ll be portrayed by longtime voice actor Frank Welker, who’s been with the franchise ever since it began in 1969.

Filling out the rest of those meddling kids, however, will be a new list of big names including Zac Efron as Fred Jones, Amanda Seyfried as Daphne Blake, Gina Rodriguez as Velma Dinkley and Will Forte as Shaggy Rogers.

Chris Hemsworth Says He Was Underwhelmed With Thor Before Ragnarok

While the first two Thor movies certainly have their fans, you’d be hard pressed to find anyone who ranks his 2011 origin story or 2013’s Thor: The Dark World among the McU’s best. Even Chris Hemsworth himself last year described his second solo outing as “meh,” and in a more recent interview with Yahoo, the actor credited 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok for kicking some life into the series.

In the lead-up to the release of Avengers: Endgame, Hemsworth reflected on his eight-year run in the McU, admitting that he was feeling worn out by the time he started work on the third Thor:

“When we came into Ragnarok, I was sort of exhausted of what I’d been doing and a little sort of underwhelmed by what I was putting out there, you know?”

Hemsworth went on to clarify that he wasn’t placing blame on any of his collaborators,

Watch: 2019 Blockbuster 'AMONtage' Hypes Up the Summer Season

"13 films. 3 minutes. Watch the Summer 2019 Blockbuster AMONtage now!" We're just a few weeks away from officially kicking off the 2019 summer movie season, which is launching with Marvel's Avengers: Endgame opening in theaters worldwide. To celebrate the occasion, movie lover Amon Warmann has put together his annual preview video called the "Summer 2019 Blockbuster Montage", or "AMONtage". Featuring footage from 13 big summer blockbusters, this plays the perfect sizzle reel that will hopefully get you excited about what's going to be playing on the big screen over these next few months. As usual, this is an awesome preview with some very slick, impressive editing that makes this stand out over other mashups. After Avengers, I'm most looking forward to Godzilla, John Wick: Chapter 3, and honestly Hobbs & Shaw because the new trailer is totally bonkers. But the rest of these movies do look quite promising (as do many other movies he didn't include

Chris Evans May’ve Just Confirmed A Major Avengers: Endgame Spoiler

Many a true word is spoken in jest, and during a recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Chris Evans seemingly let slip a pretty big Avengers: Endgame spoiler while joking about the drawbacks of spandex.

The star was one of several cast members who partook in the show’s “Just One Question” segment, where he answered a series of queries from The Late Show staffers. One of the questions was, “Who is the Avengers’ biggest enemy?” And while Evans’ co-stars generally went for the obvious answer of Thanos, the Captain America actor offered a surprising alternative:

“Honestly, I’d say chafing. If you’ve ever run through an interdimensional portal wearing a skin-tight body suit, you’ll know what I mean.”

Okay, so obviously the part about chafing is tongue-in-cheek. But why an interdimensional portal? That seems like an oddly specific example, right? After all, when in

Review: Gugu Mbatha-Raw in "Fast Color"

by Abe Fried-Tanzer

When it comes to great actresses who haven’t become household names despite terrific performances, Gugu Mbatha-Raw is at the top of the list. In 2014, she was headlining Belle and Beyond the Lights, both to much acclaim. I’ve been a fan of hers since the 2010 NBC series Undercovers, a quickly-axed show that I’m pretty sure only I liked. Shortly after it was cancelled, she had a role in the Tom Hanks-Julia Roberts comedy Larry Crowne and it looked like her career might really be taking off. After supporting parts in projects as diverse as Miss Sloane and A Wrinkle in Time, she’s now taking the lead role in a superhero movie, which Chris first reported on more than two years ago.

As 90% of movie theater audiences hold their breath waiting for the 181 minute Avengers: Endgame to be released, this is something completely different.

Watch Chris Hemsworth, Brie Larson, and Don Cheadle Talk About Avengers: Endgame

Entertainment Tonight has released the full eight-minute video interview of Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), and Don Cheadle (War Machine) talking about the highly anticipated film Avengers: Endgame.

They discuss a number of topics ranging from Brie Larson being the newcomer to the McU. They playfully poke some fun at each other, especially when Larson talks about doing her own stunts. Hemsworth and Larson also are at odds when they talk about who of the two is the most powerful hero.

It’s interesting to watch because as Hemsworth and Cheadle continue to joke around with Larson, things seem to get a little uncomfortable, but it just might just be a part of the show they are putting on. Around the 5:45 mark Larson says she feels like she's "been fighting" with Hemsworth all day.

Watch the interview for yourself below and tell us if you think they

Robert Downey Jr. Was the Only Avenger to Read Full Endgame Script

Robert Downey Jr. Was the Only Avenger to Read Full Endgame Script
Robert Downey Jr. was the only member of the Avengers: Endgame cast who was allowed to read the entire script. Marvel Studios is legendary for keeping their secrets under wraps, which often involves not handing out full scripts to the cast or even handing out scripts with fake endings in them. Endgame is on the way and a lot of the cast members aren't even sure how everything will end, but when Rdj says the last 8 minutes of the movie are the best thing in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, you might want to believe him.

In a new interview, the Russo Brothers reveal Robert Downey Jr. was the only one to get a full Avengers: Endgame script, though they believe Chris Evans might have too. However, they can only vouch for Rdj at the moment, which makes sense. He's the guy who helped bring the McU to where it

McU Movie Sales Increase As Fans Prep For Avengers: Endgame Release

Not only has Avengers: Endgame enjoyed some phenomenal pre-sales in the last couple of weeks, but it’s also helped boost the sales of previous Marvel titles, as fans revisit the catalogue in preparation for next week’s release.

Ticket service Fandango has announced that their video streaming platform FandangoNOW has seen a nearly 50% increase in transactions for McU movies since Endgame tickets went on sale on April 2nd. According to a survey conducted by the site, the top five films that fans are feeling the need to (re-)watch are Avengers: Infinity War, The Avengers, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Thor: Ragnarok.

From the look of things, some people might well have listened to the advice of Endgame co-directors Anthony and Joe Russo, who said that the two to check out before going into next week’s release are Infinity War and Civil War. While

Brie Larson Reveals Captain Marvel’s Secret Weapon To Take Down Thanos

Ever since Nick Fury sent his distress call to Captain Marvel in the post-credits of Avengers: Infinity War, it’s long been assumed that Carol Danvers will be a key player in the fight against Thanos. But with the release of Avengers: Endgame just around the corner, Brie Larson has offered a surprising suggestion for just how she plans to take down the Mad Titan.

The actress recently took part in the “Just One Question” segment on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she responded to a series of queries from the show’s staffers. When asked what Captain Marvel’s secret weapon against Thanos is going to be, the Oscar-winner replied:

“Easy. It’s compassion.”

The staff member responded, “really?” before Larson came back with an answer more fitting for the McU’s most powerful hero:

“No. I’m gonna to punch him into the sun.”

Game Of Thrones Season 8 Premiere Was Pirated 55M Times In 24 Hours

Game of Thrones is back – and don’t we know all about it.

As if the Internet wasn’t foreboding enough with the imminent threat of Avengers: Endgame spoilers, HBO’s crown jewel has reclaimed its rightful spot at the forefront of television, seeding a tidal wave of carefully constructed theories and potential spoilers about the Night King and his murky origins.

All told, it’s not too much of a stretch to say that Game of Thrones mania has swept the nation – nay, the world – and analytics firm Muso (h/t Engadget) has the data to prove it. As a matter of fact, in its first 24 hours of release, Thrones‘ season 8 opener “Winterfell” was pirated 55 million times, prompting this statement from Muso boss Andy Chatterley:

Regardless of rationale, the piracy figures for just the first 24 hours since the episode aired demonstrate that these audiences cannot, and should not,
