Marvel films on superheroes in different sizes

Marvel Studios want their films to "reflect audiences all over the globe that are cheering" their work. Though they are going big on diversity, they are yet to have a plus-size superhero or someone who doesn't have an envious physique. But this might change "sooner than you think", says Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. Chris Hemsworth, Brie Larson, and Chris Evans are some of the Hollywood stars who have donned the superhero costume for Marvel Cinematic Universe (McU). It's not just their special skills or superpowers that fans across the world are in love with, but also their jaw-dropping figures.?

When Ians asked would Marvel like to introduce superheroes who don't possess the "perfect figure", Feige said here with a laugh: "Yes, I would because then maybe I can be a superhero."

Superheroes generally come in figure-enhancing tights. Doesn't he feel they are being stereotyped?

"Traditionally, if you look at

Watch Chris Hemsworth, Brie Larson, and Don Cheadle Talk About Avengers: Endgame

Entertainment Tonight has released the full eight-minute video interview of Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), and Don Cheadle (War Machine) talking about the highly anticipated film Avengers: Endgame.

They discuss a number of topics ranging from Brie Larson being the newcomer to the McU. They playfully poke some fun at each other, especially when Larson talks about doing her own stunts. Hemsworth and Larson also are at odds when they talk about who of the two is the most powerful hero.

It’s interesting to watch because as Hemsworth and Cheadle continue to joke around with Larson, things seem to get a little uncomfortable, but it just might just be a part of the show they are putting on. Around the 5:45 mark Larson says she feels like she's "been fighting" with Hemsworth all day.

Watch the interview for yourself below and tell us if you think they

Robert Downey Jr. Was the Only Avenger to Read Full Endgame Script

Robert Downey Jr. Was the Only Avenger to Read Full Endgame Script
Robert Downey Jr. was the only member of the Avengers: Endgame cast who was allowed to read the entire script. Marvel Studios is legendary for keeping their secrets under wraps, which often involves not handing out full scripts to the cast or even handing out scripts with fake endings in them. Endgame is on the way and a lot of the cast members aren't even sure how everything will end, but when Rdj says the last 8 minutes of the movie are the best thing in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, you might want to believe him.

In a new interview, the Russo Brothers reveal Robert Downey Jr. was the only one to get a full Avengers: Endgame script, though they believe Chris Evans might have too. However, they can only vouch for Rdj at the moment, which makes sense. He's the guy who helped bring the McU to where it

McU Movie Sales Increase As Fans Prep For Avengers: Endgame Release

Not only has Avengers: Endgame enjoyed some phenomenal pre-sales in the last couple of weeks, but it’s also helped boost the sales of previous Marvel titles, as fans revisit the catalogue in preparation for next week’s release.

Ticket service Fandango has announced that their video streaming platform FandangoNOW has seen a nearly 50% increase in transactions for McU movies since Endgame tickets went on sale on April 2nd. According to a survey conducted by the site, the top five films that fans are feeling the need to (re-)watch are Avengers: Infinity War, The Avengers, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Thor: Ragnarok.

From the look of things, some people might well have listened to the advice of Endgame co-directors Anthony and Joe Russo, who said that the two to check out before going into next week’s release are Infinity War and Civil War. While

Brie Larson Reveals Captain Marvel’s Secret Weapon To Take Down Thanos

Ever since Nick Fury sent his distress call to Captain Marvel in the post-credits of Avengers: Infinity War, it’s long been assumed that Carol Danvers will be a key player in the fight against Thanos. But with the release of Avengers: Endgame just around the corner, Brie Larson has offered a surprising suggestion for just how she plans to take down the Mad Titan.

The actress recently took part in the “Just One Question” segment on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she responded to a series of queries from the show’s staffers. When asked what Captain Marvel’s secret weapon against Thanos is going to be, the Oscar-winner replied:

“Easy. It’s compassion.”

The staff member responded, “really?” before Larson came back with an answer more fitting for the McU’s most powerful hero:

“No. I’m gonna to punch him into the sun.”

Game Of Thrones Season 8 Premiere Was Pirated 55M Times In 24 Hours

Game of Thrones is back – and don’t we know all about it.

As if the Internet wasn’t foreboding enough with the imminent threat of Avengers: Endgame spoilers, HBO’s crown jewel has reclaimed its rightful spot at the forefront of television, seeding a tidal wave of carefully constructed theories and potential spoilers about the Night King and his murky origins.

All told, it’s not too much of a stretch to say that Game of Thrones mania has swept the nation – nay, the world – and analytics firm Muso (h/t Engadget) has the data to prove it. As a matter of fact, in its first 24 hours of release, Thrones‘ season 8 opener “Winterfell” was pirated 55 million times, prompting this statement from Muso boss Andy Chatterley:

Regardless of rationale, the piracy figures for just the first 24 hours since the episode aired demonstrate that these audiences cannot, and should not,

Avengers: Endgame Star Says Early McU Films Were A “Major Testosterone Festival”

There’s a scene in Iron Man 2, when Tony Stark is quite literally ogling the fresh-faced Black Widow (“I want one”), that hasn’t aged particularly well.

In fact, it already feels like a museum piece in the era of #MeToo. So it comes as no surprise that Black Widow herself, Scarlett Johansson, looks back on McU Phase One as a “major testosterone festival,” in which competing heroes drown out most, if not all female representation.

Currently in the midst of Avengers: Endgame‘s global press tour, Johansson swung by Lorraine (h/t Digital Spy) and spoke to guest host Christine Lampard about the McU’s imminent showdown, and why she felt nothing but relief when Marvel Studios finally opened its doors to other female characters besides Black Widow – think Peggy Carter, Scarlet Witch, Okoye and the supercharged Captain Marvel.

Oh yeah, it’s a huge relief for me because,

John Wick 3 IMAX Poster Invites You Inside the Continental Hotel

John Wick 3: Parabellum hits theaters next month and Lionsgate is starting to push the promotional campaign into overdrive. IMAX has offered up a pretty amazing piece of artwork in a new poster, which kind of looks like the Last Supper, except everybody is trying to be as far away as possible from Keanu Reeves' John Wick, who is front and center. As for why nobody wants to be around Wick, that may have to do with the $14 million bounty on his head.

In addition to Wick, the IMAX John Wick 3 poster features Sofia, The Adjudicator, Winston, The Director, The Bowery King, and Zero. While the poster art on its own is great, the official John Wick 3 site has an interactive version, which lets users hover over the characters to get a small amount of dialogue from the movie, a short scrap of footage, and a new picture. It's

Tony Stark Doesn’t Want To Die In This Avengers: Endgame TV Spot

For the past year, it’s been a fairly popular prediction that Tony Stark will meet a tragic end in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame, but in the new TV spot for next week’s release, Iron Man himself doesn’t seem too keen on the idea.

The promo first emerged earlier this week to mark ten days until the release of the Avengers: Infinity War sequel, but now it comes to us in a much better quality, allowing fans a more detailed look at such sights as Tony flicking a shrunk-down Ant-Man off his shoulder.

Robert Downey Jr.’s character also gets the key line of the TV spot, telling Steve Rogers, “We’re trying to pull off something damn near impossible, and to not die trying would be nice.” Given how many snap victims already have sequels lined up, the team may well pull off the impossible, but whether

Thor 4 a Possibility at Marvel

Kirsten Howard Apr 19, 2019

Ragnarok star Tessa Thompson says she's heard that Thor 4 has already been pitched to Marvel.

After the first two Thor films, the general feeling in the McU fan base was that maybe the God of Thunder didn't need too many more big screen solo outings [pause for Thor and Thor: The Dark World fans to go full NathanFillionobjecting.gif] but when Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok came along in late 2017, the film brought a real freshness to Thor's continuing adventures, boosting star Chris Hemsworth's natural comedic talents and also introducing us to instantly terrific characters like Korg and Valkyrie, not to mention just the all-out joy of seeing Jeff Goldblum off the chain as the Grandmaster.

Very quickly, Thor: Ragnarok was proclaimed the best of the Thor trilogy by many, and it slid right into countless "top tier McU" lists, with both fans and critics finding little to complain about,

Avengers: Endgame Directors Reveal The Only Actor Who Got A Full Script

Marvel Studios has been notoriously secretive when it comes to the details of Avengers: Endgame, and that applies not only to what they hide from the public, but also what they hide from their own cast members.

For example, during the filming of last year’s Avengers: Infinity War, actors were given fake screenplays to avoid spoilers leaking. And even when the stars were shown genuine scripts, they were often only allowed to know about the scenes that directly involved their characters. These measures carried over into next week’s sequel, and in a recent interview with Rotten Tomatoes, Joe Russo admitted that possibly only one cast member was allowed to see the complete scripts.

“[Robert Downey Jr.] was probably the only one to actually read the entire script,” Russo said. “I think Benedict [Cumberbatch] got the script that included his scenes only. [Chris] Evans might have read the whole script.”

Well,

Tessa Thompson Says ‘Thor 4’ Pitch Is to Have Taika Waititi Return to Direct

Tessa Thompson Says ‘Thor 4’ Pitch Is to Have Taika Waititi Return to Direct
The upcoming “Avengers: Endgame” is set to say goodbye to longtime Marvel Cinematic Universe superheroes Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Captain America (Chris Evans), but the future looks bright for original Avengers such as Black Widow, Thor, and more. Scarlett Johansson is set to star in a standalone Black Widow movie, and now word comes from Tessa Thompson that a fourth “Thor” movie appears on track to happen.

In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times to promote the upcoming indie film “Little Woods,” Thompson said that last she heard the gears had been already set in motion for the next “Thor” movie. Thompson said from what little she’s heard so far the plan is to have “Thor: Ragnarok” director Taika Waititi return being the camera for the next standalone “Thor” film.

“I heard that a pitch has happened for [another “Thor” film],” Thompson said. “I don’t
