"The Search Continues"
28 March 2016 | by pipecaxSee all my reviews

(Some Spoilers)

MTV's "Scream" continues to make allusion to its genre in an episode with little blood but with much self - referential humor.

After the episode last week, where one of the characters more identifiable died, it was not surprising that in "Aftermath" things fall level to concentrate on the drama of the death of a friend. While there was no narrative excitement in the episode, some of the characters were given the opportunity to be more identifiable, especially in the case of Brooke.

For the first time we not experience a death in the whole episode, this trick can be counterproductive because in a way it compels us to share more time with the characters but the suspense and intrigue of the series vanishes, creating a uproarious novel for young. Also, it managed to introduce us in the creation of the mask and gradually assemble the mythology of the series, explain how became a Brandon James, it is interesting.

"Scream" has been characterized for intervening with subplots of the secondary characters, making a muddle to combine it with another (blackmail of Will and Jake to the Mayor while Brooke doubts that his father is a murderer) so that it is better not to speak much of them and we focus on the masterpiece.

The concentration of the audience this week is focused in Noah, Audrey and Emma, this trio of guys to follow the clues that lead them to an abandoned hospital, where they find Nina's computer with names of all them, so then Audrey take a bad decision that generates the life of the poor Emma's unstuck, slowly... Well done Audrey!

"Aftermath" is important for the syntax of the series, focusing on a development deeper of the guys (their problems, their secrets, their mysteries, their revelations), with very little blood, but with many more clues. Let us pray so that next week the killer is stalking, again. Six episodes, the search still continues.
