When Molly recalls moving to New York, the city skyline is shown. This is supposed to represent New York in 2010 or before, but it shows the Freedom Tower complete with its spire. The tower was topped off in 2012 and the spire placed in 2013.

Character error

When Player X suggests raising the buy-in from $100K to $500K, Molly remarks that that would be a 500% increase. It's 500% as much money, but only a 400% increase.

Errors in geography

In the opening voiceover, Molly states she is from Loveland, CO, two hours north of Denver. Loveland is about 45 minutes north. Two hours would get you to Cheyenne, WY.

Factual errors

The house can't decide to take a rake (cut of the pot) in the middle of a poker hand. The players would revolt. A rake must be established with some advance notice. It's usually in force before any play begins.

In one game, the initial bet is $300,000 and the second bettor raises the bet by $200,000. That wouldn't be allowed in any poker game. A re-raise must be at least as much the original bet. In this case, the minimum re-raise would have to be $300,000.

Molly says that Harlan Eustice plays "tight" because he folds after the hole cards 64% of the time. This is NOT tight. A good player will fold about 80% before the Flop and a "tight" player will fold even more......as much as 85% of the time or higher.

When Molly is skiing, her bindings have 120 printed on them. She later claims to use a DIN setting of 15. A 120 binding would only go up to 12.

In the movie, Molly says the pitch of the mogul run at Deer Valley is 52 degrees, which is the same as the Great Pyramid. While the Great Pyramid is 51.4 degrees, the slope of the Deer Valley mogul run is 28 degrees.

When the trick is called out at the beginning as a D-Spin, which is a back flip 360, the trick on-screen is actually just a back flip with an iron cross (skis crossed).
