Dean Martin Celebrity Roast: Peter Marshall (1977)

Hollywood Squares host Peter Marshall takes the jokes in this episode of the famous series. The roasters include Zsa Zsa Gabor, Vincent Price, Red Buttons, Foster Brooks, Ed Bluestone, Jimmie Walker, Joey Bishop, Paul Lynde, Rose Marie, Rip Taylor and the one and only Orson Welles among others. For the most part this is a pretty funny episode and features a few new faces to the mix including Bluestone who actually does a very good job and delivers some of the night's biggest laughs. As usual, Welles is extremely good in his own form of comedy and then there's Vincent Price who gets a couple good jokes in. Even Marshall was pretty funny when it was his turn to go back at his roasters. All in all this was a funny episode and while not a classic it's still very much worth watching.

Episode: B+
