Did You Know?

David Bowie was a huge fan of Peaky Blinders. Bowie loved the show so much that he sent the production team a picture of himself wearing a razor blade-peaked flat cap. According to the Telegraph, the singer's "people" also made it clear to creator Steven Knight that he would love to feature on the soundtrack. At the scene where we see Tommy Shelby recovering from the injuries he sustained at the end of the last episode, we can listen to "Lazarus" by David Bowie whose song scored Tommy's woozy morphine-fuelled recovery. During the scene when Aunt polly gets to see her portrait for the first time she pulls off the cloth that is draped over it but when she moves to touch the painting itself she is told by the artist not to as the painting is still wet, if the painting was wet the cloth would likely do far more damage than her touch. Well actually its a very small butt considering the quality and story we are going through here. I personally love the series but this particular episode @ 38:00 mins a glitch in editing can be seen. It should be corrected.
