A trip to Monaco helps Prince Liam and Ophelia's relationship blossom.
The Royals is a gripping drama that, so far, has a main plot where the king of England (Vincent Regan) has "threatened" to disband the royal monarchy. This idea does not sit well with many in the royal family, especially the sultry queen (Elizabeth Hurley). The show keeps one glued to the television, with subplots centered around sex, drugs, and the entitled children of the king and queen.
Ophelia's father, head of security Ted, tells Jasper that he is aware of his relationship with Eleanor and that he has lied about his background when the young bodyguard requests a transfer. The queen uses this to coerce Jasper into having sex with her but Simon, returning from a nocturnal walk with Prudence, sees him leaving Helena's room. Liam and his party arrive in Monaco where Eleanor meets up with her old flame Beck. He brings out a softer side in her and he advises her against carrying on with her wild child image. They spend the night together, as do Ophelia and Liam. Gemma is not happy but on arrival back in England Liam holds hands with Ophelia for the waiting press.
