Clementine Lewis: [Removes the sandwiches from her bag and hands him one] Let's eat.
Mitch Morgan: [Extremely unenthusiastic, he takes one] Oh. Okay. I remember your mother's cooking... is not... so good. Have these been approved by the FDA?
Clementine Lewis: [as half-hearted as he is at the thought of eating the sandwich] Afraid not.
[They take cautious looks inside their sandwiches]
Clementine Lewis: What is it?
Mitch Morgan: That's... either very old cheese or very new meat.
[They chuckle, bonding over their shared lukewarm feelings about their lunch]

The Cheese Stands Alone
10 September 2018 | by Prismark10See all my reviews

Delavenne the man who got the initial team together has sent them to Pender Island in Massachusetts to investigate a swarm of rats who killed everyone on board of a cargo ship carrying grain from Reiden Global.

The teams find murderous rats who can asexually reproduce at a rapid rate. They discuss what if other more predatory animals reproduce at a fast rate?

Mitch although not prepared to rat on his friends is prepared to give the Mother Cell back in return for her daughter being cured of a terminal illness, a daughter who he goes to see for the first time in a long time.

More intriguingly Xander Berkeley turns up as a mysterious man, Dogstick Brannigan who is on a blind date which goes wrong because of a rampaging horse. He is searching for his protege who has gone missing, he finds out that he is dead. That was agent Shaffer and now Brannigan wants to find out the culprits.

The episode introduces a late season antagonist for the team and a further potential twist regarding a character.

Not an episode to watch if you dislike rats. If you like rats watch it with Michael Jackson's Ben on the background.
