Work out the kinks and this thing's got a shot

I'm as happy as anyone that The Muppets are back on Prime Time. And with a little tinkering, I'd be in for the long haul. But for starters, they're overdoing it with the camera-work. This is very "The Office", and being a workplace sitcom, that's completely understandable. But cut down on the zooms, and for god's sake, steady the camera during the writer's room scenes. This isn't (shouldn't be) TMZ. And Kermit's a bit off. Again, I know this is only the pilot, and I'm hoping he finds his groove.

Aside from that, the guests were good; the brawl between Elizabeth Banks and Scooter was pretty sweet, and it was nice to see Tom Bergeron able to laugh at himself. Miss Piggy's one of my favorite Muppets, so I like that she's so central to this show.

It's got promise.
