In the series, Enriqueta Martí works as a maid for a 19th century Barcelona family named Folch. The prison where the historical Enriqueta died was later demolished and replaced by a public square named after 19th century Barcelona novelist Josep Maria Folch. See more
Amelia's Barcelona home is in 1881 (was 1880 in Season 1). The real Enriqueta Martí was born in 1871, so she would have only been ten years old at the time she is supposed to be the maid. See more
