Things are about to erupt between the board and the orchestra, and Rodrigo prepares to do whatever it takes. As the tables turn with each double cross, no one is safe. Not even the greatest composers in history. The future is uncertain.

Nina's final act as the union's lawyer has the consequence that Cynthia feared. The negotiations move to between Rodrigo and Edward, the latter who is trying to solidify the coup to replace Gloria as board chair, especially timely in light of what Nina did. What happens with the special vote of the board to discuss what Rodrigo and Edward negotiated, which includes accepting the union's latest proposal item for item, will affect Rodrigo, Thomas and Hailey's future with the orchestra, that is if there is an orchestra with which to be associated. Great Conclusion to the Second Season
16 February 2017 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

I may have overlapped episodes 9 & 10 (I watched three episodes in a row and that made it a little confusing) but we begin with Rodrigo's deal with the devil. However, in order for the orchestra to survive the board must vote to lock them out. Edward suddenly has the world by the butt, but his plan comes crashing down at the board meeting. The orchestra is locked out and goes to Central Park to perform a free concert after Cynthia allays their fears. She gives an inspirational speech that makes them forget about their worries. But Hailey pulls off a coup, but you need to watch to see what that's all about. She also manages to finally go nose to nose with Betty. There is a wonderful, pregnant moment at the conclusion. I love this show.
