A Marine's murder reveals new clues in the first case LaSalle and Pride worked together after Hurricane Katrina; a Thanksgiving celebration at Pride's bar.
The murder of a Marine provides new clues in the first case Pride and Lasalle ever worked together, just before Hurricane Katrina struck the city and washed away any evidence. Also, the team celebrates Thanksgiving together in Pride's bar.
When a Marine is among the ones who were killed in what appears to be a robbery at a diner, the team investigates. LaSalle talks to a witness who describes the man with a gun and when he describes the man, LaSalle suddenly leaves and gives Sebastian some evidence from a ten year old case and asks him to look it over and compare it to the diner shooting and asks him not to tell Pride. When Pride wonders where LaSalle is he goes to the morgue and discovers what LaSalle asked Sebastian to do. He then finds LaSalle and they work it together as they're suppose to. It seems like ten years ago around the time of Katrina, LaSalle was with NOPD and was investigating a man who was killed by car jackers. He would later run into Pride whom he thinks is trying to horn in on his case but Pride tells him he thinks the car jackers are the same ones who stole a Naval bursing office so they work together.
