A test of ethics

Donnie Wahlberg's former partner Malik Yoba was caught planting evidence to secure a conviction of a really bad psycho killer who might just go free if Donnie Wahlberg can't make a new case. Wahlberg who cuts a few corners himself is sorely tempted to go down the same route here. All this is dumped on him by his sister Bridget Moynahan.

That's bad enough but Sunday dinner conversation really sours the meal when it comes to what Commissioner Tom Selleck has to do about issuing a permit for a demonstration where an American flag is to be burned. Everybody including Wahlberg's two sons get in on this one. The organizer of the demonstration is Sam Gilroy who is nursing some understandable grievances.

Lastly Will Estes and partner Vanessa Ray get to help a young teen who is nursing her own grievances against the NYPD. During a school presentation assignment Lilli Crawford tells Jamie and Janko what she thinks of cops as her father was shot to death by one of them. I think the problem was solved for here in a rather bizarre way that would not happen in real life. Does lower the overall quality of this Blue Bloods story.
