Trapped in limbo.

Fans of the original The Evil Dead will no doubt be intrigued by the appearance of actress Ellen Sandweiss as Cheryl, Ash's sister, who returns from the dead to attack her brother while an angry mob of gun-toting locals surround his home. Unfortunately, Sandweiss's presence does little to help what is a rather mundane episode that lacks a decent pace, fails to advance the plot, and scrimps on the red stuff (at least until the final minutes, when Ash saws off his deadite sister's head).

There's lots of shooting and shouting, but about the only thing to come out of the whole thing is the fact that the townsfolk no longer see Ash as a murderer after witnessing deadite Cheryl repeatedly getting up after several blasts from Ash's boom-stick.
