Goofs

After Dolores digs up a wooden diagram of the maze, the Man in Black throws it off into the woods in anger. When he comes back, it (and the box it was in) is on the ground right where Dolores dug it up. See more »

Quotes

Dr. Robert Ford: [Closing monologue] Good evening. Since I was a child... I always loved a good story. I believed that stories helped us to ennoble ourselves, to fix what was broken in us, and to help us become the people we dreamed of being. Lies that told a deeper truth. I always thought I could play some small part in the grand tradition. And for my pains... I got this. A prison of our own sins. 'Cause you don't want to change, or cannot change. Because you're only human after all. But then I realized someone...

Out with a bang
5 December 2016 | by olliesnape101See all my reviews

I spent a lot of time confused in the duration of this episode. Not just confused as to what was going on and what was to come, but mainly as to how another season could be created when so many loose ends were being tied.

But boy did that confusion end quickly.

Never have I truly been able to say that a show has resolved so much, whilst at the same time opening new doors in a mind-blowing way. Somehow the finale felt so resolved and yet so introductory. I will definitely be spending the next year waiting impatiently for what is to happen next, yet I am not left with many unanswered questions.

Westworld may not be as popular as HBO's hit (you already know the name), but it certainly lives up to a very high level of expectation and I wouldn't be afraid to recommend this show as being on par with Thrones. Yes, you read that correctly. For the not-so-many (compared to its quality) people that watch this show, this episode was certainly a reminder of great potential still to come, and I am yet to find somebody who has been disappointed with Westworld. I am strongly invested in the characters, the story, the writing and the messages. 10/10
