Just to correct the review above: Oswald's rifle was a war surplus Italian 6.5 mm Carcano carbine. It had a six round internal magazine and, once loaded, would fire six times before reloading was required. The bolt action had to be worked to chamber each round but they did not have to be loaded one at a time.

Bought mine for five bucks in 1961. :)

P.S. If yer an R. Lee Ermey fan you know where Oswald learned to shoot.

Warning: Spoilers
When Lee Harvey is shooting a bolt action rifle multiple times without inserting shells. He is not loading shells at the range, he bolts and re-bolts without inserting an actual bullet. Bolt action rifles fire one bullet at a time when you pull the bolt back it ejects the shell, then you have to reload, this scene showed him firing round after round like a Semi-automatic weapon more like an AK-47 with a clip and a spring that auto loads in the chamber and exits the barrel through a chamber, using the gasses when it fires to send the bolt back into position, Im unsure because I know the M-16 is a 5.56 millimeter gas chamber, air cooled, gas operated, magazine fed... he used a bolt action rifle without placing a round in the chamber...
