Frightening & Intense Scenes

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • This is a story about fluid sexuality, and though there aren't a lot of explicit scenes, there are images of nudity and sex occasionally.
  • As Colette pursues relationships with women (her husband approves of it), we see her and another woman kiss, undress (there is some breast nudity), and perform (implied) oral sex on each other. The scenes are brief, but graphic enough to know what's going on.
  • We also see Colette's husband with another woman, and there are similar, brief scenes
  • Colette dances provocatively onstage in dance routines, and in one sequence, her costume is purposely torn off to reveal her breast.
