MPAA Rated R for disturbing violence throughout, bloody images, and language

Sex & Nudity

  • Contains only infrequent innuendo. A wealthy businessman is browsing a catalogue of prostitutes and is on the phone whilst inquiring about their physical attributes, including nipple size. It is stated that he intends to invite a couple of them up to his hotel room. Some profanities throughout the film also include sexual allusions (as detailed in Profanity).

Violence & Gore

  • Contains frequent strong violence and sustained threat throughout the film, most of which involves the use of AK-47 rifles by terrorists against unarmed civilians (including children and the elderly). Many deaths are quite abrupt, which may startle, frighten, and/or distress viewers. Blood spray is frequent, however, there is rarely any dwelling on pain or injury after the fact. There is some injury detail after characters have been shot and survived.
  • Although much blood there is little gore. However there is some gore at the beginning of the film in real news footage.

  • Three uses of "motherfucker/sisterfucker," twenty-one uses of "fuck," four uses of "arse," three of "shit," one of "bastard." A woman is called a "bitch."

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Contains infrequent depictions of alcohol/tobacco consumption. Wines drunk with meals in restaurant. A man offers a distressed woman hard liquor to calm her down. The film as a whole does not endorse or depict substance misuse.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Contains sustained threat throughout the film as terrorists open fire on unarmed civilians, which may startle, frighten, and/or cause distress, particularly as many of the deaths are intended to be abrupt and unexpected.
