Patience

Storyline

Seven teens begin working at summer camp that is about to reopen after being closed for a few years. Only one of the counselors didn't attend Camp Stillwater as a kid; Amy, and she begins to sense that something isn't right at the seemingly innocent camp.

When the counselors meet for the first time, a caption gives the vague date of "Summer, 1989", but a camcorder POV explicitly shows the date is "Jun. 23 1989". Janet Jackson's "Miss You Much" is playing in the background. This song was released as a single on August 22, 1989, and its album ("Rhythm Nation 1814") was released on September 19, 1989.

1980-2016 Connection

To be fair enough, I'd give it 5/10...utmost.... Watched the first episode and all I can say is Cliché cliché cliché! So sad about that....

I guess the writers took advantage coz it been quite a while since the 80's that the new generation won't relate... We've watched so many horror camp stories that we kinda know what will happen next...and that really sucks...I thought this was going to be different...but anyway, it's the premier (which should have at least been a killer 'no pun intended').

But in all fairness, I would watch Episode 2 and 3....if there's no true meaning to it...I'll quit and go outdoors for my summer.
