Richard Castle : You're up early. Sleep okay?
[he moves in to kiss her, but she backs away]
Kate Beckett : No, no, no. No. No.
Richard Castle : Oh, did I snore?
Kate Beckett : Yeah, but that's not the problem.
Richard Castle : What was?
Kate Beckett : You betrayed me.
Kate Beckett : What? How? When?
Kate Beckett : Last night. In my dreams.
Richard Castle : [laughs] Your...
[sees she's serious]
Richard Castle : What- That's- I- I- Which- Uh, How- What could I have possibly done that was so wrong?
Kate Beckett : You know what? Never mind. I- I don't even want to re-live it.
Richard Castle : Well, technically, you didn't live it. You just dreamed it.
[sees her look]
Richard Castle : That's- What- I...
[her phone rings]
Richard Castle : Whatever I "did," I am so sorry.
[her phone rings]
Richard Castle : Whatever I did, I am so sorry.
Kate Beckett : It's the precinct.
Richard Castle : Why do I feel like a murder just saved my life?
Kate Beckett : Hey, Ryan. Ned, here, wants to revise his statement.
Kevin Ryan : Awesome. Had a little accident? Don't touch anything. Please.
Kate Beckett : Uh! Excuse me, Hayley. Where are you going?
Richard Castle : Hey, guys, is there a problem here?
Kate Beckett : Hayley waterboarded Ned.
Hayley Shipton : I did no such thing. It was more of a swirly.
[London has been hit by a cyber attack cutting all power]
Kate Beckett : So, I spoke with the FBI and they are considering this an act of terror.
Hayley Shipton : How bad's the damage?
Kate Beckett : Uh, it's gonna be a few days before the power is back up in London. Maybe more.
Hayley Shipton : Fantastic. So, I've unwittingly plunged my hometown back into the 16th century.
Richard Castle : Oh, that might not be all that bad. I mean "Hamlet" was written in the 16th century.
[sees their looks]
Richard Castle : I'm not helping.
Richard Castle : A red rose for the lady.
Kate Beckett : Oh.
Richard Castle : You know the French would say, "je suis désolé." In Spanish, "lo siento." In Latin, "mea culpa".
Kate Beckett : Okay. You're apologizing. I get it.
Richard Castle : Yes. Because I have been keeping something from you. That your subconscious mind picked up on and caused you to have a dream that I betrayed you in some way.
Kate Beckett : Castle, I thought that we said we weren't gonna keep any more secrets.
Richard Castle : I know, and I just- I consider this more of a surprise than a secret. But I should have known better than to try and surprise the world's greatest detective. After Batman.
Kate Beckett : Wh- What's behind the sheet?
Richard Castle : Kate... you've been going through a lot of changes these past few years. You gave up your place. You got married, and you became a captain. But some of the things that you love have fallen by the wayside, including one thing that's been gathering dust in your father's garage.
Kate Beckett : You didn't.
Richard Castle : I did.
[he pulls the sheet, revealing her old motorcycle]
Kate Beckett : Oh!
Richard Castle : I had it completely restored.
Kate Beckett : [speechless] I...
Richard Castle : Go ahead, sit on it.
Kate Beckett : [laughing] What, I... I just...
Richard Castle : I think you should take the bike on a cross-country trip. It's something you've always wanted to do.
Kate Beckett : This is amazing. I love this. But I- I don't wanna do this alone. Why don't you get some lessons?
Kate Beckett : I was hoping you'd say that...
[picks up a helmet]
Kate Beckett : ... because I already got my license and I bought a bike. It's at the garage at the office.
Kate Beckett : [getting off the bike] I love you.
Richard Castle : I love you.
Kate Beckett : Yeah.
Richard Castle : Does this mean that you won't be having any more bad dreams about me tonight?
Kate Beckett : No, 'cause we're not sleeping tonight.
[as she heads towards the bedroom, he moves to put the helmet down]
Kate Beckett : Uh-uh. Bring the helmet.
[he puts the helmet on]
Richard Castle : Safety first.
Kate Beckett : Look. Apparently, Ned was tricked by some woman named Karla into gaining access to the building and the secured server, most likely to help Marcus rob the place.
Hayley Shipton : Yeah, but clearly something happened between Marcus and Karla, because it looks like she's the one that drove that knife into his back.
Richard Castle : And is that all?
Hayley Shipton : Why are you asking me?
Richard Castle : Because clearly something is going on with you, Hayley. Something connected to this case. You know you can tell us.
Hayley Shipton : [pause] I was in that office last night.
Kate Beckett : Okay, we need to talk. Now.
[cut to them entering an interrogation room]
Hayley Shipton : Really, you want to talk in here?
Kate Beckett : [laughs] Yes, this is where we question all of our murder suspects.
Hayley Shipton : You think I killed Marcus.
Kate Beckett : Right now, I don't know what to think.
Richard Castle : [answers phone] Hey, Alexis.
Alexis Castle : Dad, Hayley's gone.
Richard Castle : Gone where?
Alexis Castle : I don't know, but she ditched her cell phone. I can't track her.
Richard Castle : Hang on. I'm putting you on speaker. What was the last thing Hayley did before she disappeared?
Alexis Castle : She discovered the computer worm was one she helped design years ago.
Kevin Ryan : So Edgar used Hayley's own code to help frame her.
Kate Beckett : But why did she take off right when she was closing in?
Alexis Castle : Because she knows who the killer is. And his name isn't Edgar... I did some research on her dead MI6 partner, Wesley Connors, and I found this article from six years ago.
Kate Beckett : Wait a minute. Wesley Connors is the man in the brown leather jacket.
Javier Esposito : I knew he looked familiar.
Richard Castle : This article says he's been executed.
Alexis Castle : Guys, when Hayley recognized the code, she looked like she'd just seen a ghost.
Richard Castle : That's because she did. Wesley Connors is still alive.
