Peter Parker has been Spider-Man for eight years; at the ripe age of 23, he is about to see Wilson Fisk's empire crumble underneath his feet as the N.Y.P.D. can finally arrest 'The Kingpin' for years of political corruption and scandals. After successfully taking Fisk out, Peter's troubles start to unravel as a new threat rises to take Fisk's place: The Demons. New York starts falling into chaos, and Spider-Man's days may be numbered.

It's well-established in Spider-Man canon that his web solution break down into powder after an hour or two. That way, his webbing doesn't leave a mess behind. After repairing the transmission towers, Spider-Man can retrieve all of his old backpacks that were placed around town years ago, during his high-school days, but the webs holding all of the backpacks are still intact. However, it is possible that the web fluid he used in high-school was different from the one he uses during the events of the game. He could have experimented with different mixtures until he found a web fluid that he considered more practical. See more
