A woman known as The Nurse (Jodie Foster) runs a high-security, members-only hospital for high-rolling criminals in Los Angeles. When a bank robber (Sterling K. Brown) brings his injured teammates along with $18 million in jewels there, both mob boss Wolf King (Jeff Goldblum) and the police follow. With the hospital under siege, The Nurse, her orderly (Dave Bautista) and her other criminal patients have to defend themselves.
Nice states that she had shot herself to get into Artemis in order to get close enough to her target, the Wolf King.
Except Wolf King was said to be arriving because the bank robbers had mistakenly taken the pen with Wolf King's diamonds from a customer after a change of plans, not knowing what was inside, and they only were going to Artemis because they were wounded in an unplanned shootout. Maybe it's just me but I've not heard any buzz surrounding this movie and with the actors involved I figured it was due to its lackluster entertainment value. Not only was I surprised, I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish and highly recommend it.
