Trivia

The line spoken by John David Washington's character Ricky, "In the immortal words of DJ Slugo... I ain't yo baby daddy!" is a reference to Chicago Juke/Ghetto House music legend DJ Slugo (Thomas Kendricks) and his track, "I Ain't Yo Baby Daddy" which can be heard faintly in the same scene. Goofs

At around the 20 minute mark, the Dolphins are shown having a scrimmage/practice. The quarterback, #17 Ryan Tannehill, is shown dropping back to pass. One shot in this sequence shows that the film was reversed, as Tannehill is shown thrown left handed and is actually a right handed quarterback, plus the number on his jersey is inverted. See more »
