Storyline

Sheldon, Amy, Leonard, Penny, Howard, Bernadette, and Raj decide to go away together on a trip. This togetherness may be the last straw for many in the group in dealing with Sheldon's self-centeredness. Meanwhile, Leonard and Penny have to decide when to divulge some big news, which they have not yet told anyone. This trip will mark the first time that Howard and Bernadette have left the kids for an extended period of time, Stuart and Denise who will act as their sitters. It may be more difficult than they imagined to be away from the kids, especially due to the distance. And Raj, in the absence of Cinnamon who is staying with Bert, meets a new friend. Trivia

Nobel winners don't give an acceptance speech. Like a similar scene with John Nash, played by Russell Crowe, in A Beautiful Mind (2001), Amy and Sheldon's speech was likely inserted for dramatic effect. See more »

Adieus Big Bang Family

There's no better way to end this series. It was so emotional and amazing. Sheldon's acceptance brought tears in my eyes. Thank you so much for all the people who made this show possible and such a wonderful cast. It's not an easy to carry the show for 12 years. They have done an amazing job. I am going to miss everyone of the gang. The most important part of the show is ending. You need to give a satisfying ending. It's an end of an era. They didn't miss anyone. All the characters had their moments in the finale. Thank you so much The Big Bang Theory team for all the memories and laughter.
