Aaaaaaarrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhh!!! IT'S INSULTING...
29 April 2019 | by ras44ecsSee all my reviews

The first series was tolerable despite having so many issues with credibility and plausibility. The second series is either insulting our intelligence or relying too heavily on our unconditional support. Must you really ask us to believe that somehow Jamie maintained possession of Danny's tablet even though he obviously would have needed help back to his bed. This tablet, which everyone in that hospital would most assuredly be aware of since he constantly talked about it and bandied it about, contains data the killer would definitely have a keen interest in obtaining. Not only did he manage to keep hold of it but, now it goes undetected as the daily routine proceeds. Seriously, has no one involved in the production of this show ever been a patient in a hospital? Even for one night? You've created a mental distraction that makes it difficult to enjoy this show. Sorry, but I'm getting a little frustrated with lazy writing, weak plots, sketchy continuity, and faulty or nonexistent research. As we say in New England... DO YOUR JOB! UPDATE: So, I actually made it through to the end... Lord knows why. I have generally been entertained by Dan Sefton's work but this series left me with regrets. I may try the first episode if there is a 3rd series but, I can't guarantee I would last beyond that if the credibility, continuity and over abundance of red herring aren't addressed in a positive way.
