Trivia

Martin Sheen's character mentions that years earlier he was in a James Dean lookalike contest. In fact Sheen did resemble Dean in his early years... which was even mentioned at the end of the 1973 classic 'Badlands'. See more »

Complete cop out and unimaginative season finale
29 December 2018 | by thespiritukSee all my reviews

This was an amazing series about two strong, independent, mature women showing just how life can be even when you reach your 70s. But this episode is completely out of context with the rest of the series. It doesn't even come close to the brilliance of the previoes seasons and episodes. Rather than find ways to take the ladies from strength to strength the writers take the unimaginative route of turning them into a cliché. The shame is, this one episode has now completely put me off watching the next season altogether. Yes, we all know it's all about them getting their regular lives back. But I simply can't be bothered to sit through a predictable string of episodes that we all know where it's going. I thought this show how more creativity than this drivel.
