Storyline

Following his apparent suicide Dessie still remains the chief suspect for all the killings though his mother Mhari believes he was manipulated by Craig Petrie, supporting Blake's view that Craig manipulated the boy out of a craze for power. Craig's wife, now aware of his homosexuality and appalled by his lies, leaves him whilst the body pulled from the lake, his heart cut out, is identified as violent ex-con Michael Yuill, who has a strong connection to Kieran Whitehead's family. Picking up on this Blake does some sleuthing at the Whitehead house with near fatal results to himself. Revelations about the family unmask the lone killer, putting Evie in danger, and Annie must race to save her from being the murderer's next victim. Written by don @ minifie-1
