Actor Jeff Fahey, director Brett Leonard, editor Alan Baumgarten and make-up/effects artists Frank Ceglia and Michael Deak are on board this fifty-minute documentary that takes a look at the making of the 1992 film THE LAWNMOWER MAN. We learn about the original people who bought the short story and from here we get into the production of the movie. There's a lot of discussion dealing with the various special effects for the movie including how they had to deal with the lack of money. From here we get some nice stories from Fahey about his thoughts on the character as well as what it was like working with Pierce Brosnan. Some of the best stories come towards the end of the documentary as they talk about the Director's Cut of the film and what all had to be changed for the theatrical release. There's even a nice story told about how the film almost went straight-to-VHS. Fans of THE LAWNMOWER MAN will certainly enjoy this piece as it's well-made and has plenty of nice stories.
