Hans Crispin says himself that he is a less skilled magician, but his interest in the art form was strong enough for him to become the person who put magic on the TV screen in Sweden 1993 with the program Magic. TV4 asked him to come up with a short program in the newly started channel. In the first series, 1993, Scandinavian artists participated mixed with video clips with worldwide magicians. The program became a success and for the second series the conditions were completely different. Now there were foreign magicians that wanted to come to Sweden to participate in the show and a more expensive set was built.
