Storyline

A music video featuring a group of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students recording "Carry You On". Despite the tragic shooting that took place at their school, resulting in 17 casualties, they are showing the world they're still standing 'Douglas Strong', and will not give up the fight against gun violence in America. The lyrics were co-written by survivors Sara Imam and Kali Clougherty. This production, headed by Jonah Bryson, was widely supported by Paul McCartney, Martin Luther King III, CNN's Van Jones, Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, Congressman John Lewis, Dear Evan Hansen's Taylor Trensch, Congressman Kennedy III, and Julianne Moore. The music video was released exclusively with PEOPLE Magazine and the Rolling Stone just ahead of the 2018 American elections, becoming Number 1 on Rolling Stone's trending list. All proceeds of the song are going to the March For Our Lives.
