The Donkey Sanctuary
15 May 2019 | by Prismark10See all my reviews

Peter really does have the weight of the world on his shoulders. No wonder he has the nightmare of him being the corpse on the beach.

Peter gets his daughter a job in a burger van, she really is not cut out to flip burgers.

Wherever he goes he keeps seeing the migrant woman being harassed. Peter eventually offers her a sanctuary on the coach as he makes his way to the donkey sanctuary.

I get The Detectorist vibe about this show yet even in the second episode, the laughs were rare. It just seems that the term sitcom has been replaced with the term dramedy. Only when the diminutive Peter confronts the driver honking him and then runs back to his car as the other guy was much bigger, it was the only time I laughed.
