Magnum is hired by Katya Kudjakova to find her missing cousin, fellow recent Russian immigrant Sergei. Rick helps locate him through his favorite Russian restaurant Orel, but that also exposes Thomas to two Russian goons hunting down Sergei. While TC's helicopter helps them escape, Higgings finds Katya is impersonated by a ruthless FSB (ex-KGB) agent, who takes her and Kumu hostage. Sergei, who they demand as ransom, makes a run for it, so Magnum must urgently catch and convince him, somehow begging for non-amused Katsumoto's 'friendly' help in what proves a hugely important case.

There are conflicting accounts of the existence and the number of said weapons, especially in the former Soviet Union. See more
