I know not everyone would call this comedy but for me this episode was one of the best things I've ever seen on television. Jaw-droppingly confrontational- indigenous stars Nakkiah Lui & Miranda Tapsell- who co-wrote this episode with the Kates- try to be "nice" in spite of personal and systemic racism at every turn, including encounters with white nationalists and too-pale foundation. This is the start of a new age of comedy- as they say in the classics, strap yourselves in! This episode is mostly based around Nakkiah & Miranda taking over for the Kates while McLennan has her baby. Not for everyone, contains nudity, swearing, angry women and shapewear. Watch at your own discretion, but if you enjoyed the episode where the Kates got a sexist male co-host (Matt Day), you'll probably love this one.
(I nearly took off one star because BekJut wasn't in it, but that would have been unfair to everyone else involved.)
