Trivia

Russell makes reference to Menahem Golan, who "made The Apple" and who he's going to work with. Golan and his partner founded Cannon Films, a company that made many films (most of them b-movies) during the 1980's. See more »

Goofs

When they're about to mud wrestle, Cherry and Carmen are introduced as "Cheetara" and "Pumyra," and Carmen says she gave the names of Thundercats. Cheetara was introduced in the first episode in 1985, but Pumyra wasn't introduced until the second season in 1987, and Carmen would not have heard of the character by late 1986. See more »

When your fav show turns into an average sitcom
15 February 2020 | by BegovilSee all my reviews

Oh dear... who did this to my favourite tv show? This is awful. Characters out of touch and almost silly, absolutely absurd storyline, too much bright & saturated colours, bad camera framing, perfect hair and makeup (it was still the 80's right?)... excuse me, what is this?

I thought that my internet connection had frozen when I realised that direction had actually used an ENTIRE track from Siouxie and the Banshees just to fast forward without adding anything else in the scene... Gosh! Bored me to death. Some people should be banned from directing, at least until they have gained some life experience. It is the first time that my mind has wondered watching Glow and it's just because of the brilliant acting that my attention got back to it sometimes.

I am raging that the producers or whoever makes the big decisions has allowed the wrong people to butcher Glow. It's a shame and I hope that the following episodes make up for this one or I won't be watching the fourth season at all.
