The Rival

Episode 2 again highlights the problem with Warren. The central character is not likeable so the audience does not root for him. His wife is rather dim as well.

Given the attitude that Warren has with his driving pupils, it is a wonder that he has any students.

In this episode he is losing them all to a more popular rival. I think any driving instructor with a pulse would be better than Warren.

When Warren decides to have an online presence, his ratings plummet, he gets blamed for mishaps that are not his fault like a dead cat.

By the end of the episode, you do wonder if there are more than two deriving instructors in the city of Preston?

I did find myself laughing a few times. I watched the second episode with my son who laughed more than me, so he certainly enjoyed it.
