I have noticed that many positive comes from females who like to throw into guys faces that this review is based upon masculine perception of comedy and therefore Amy is deemed unfunny 'cuz duh' she is a female!'
However, to balance the scale. I am female and mind I found few part equally disgusting. Think of it as this way, everyone SH1tS but only vulgar being would want to talk about it at any occasion. Yes we do have periods and I feel like it is getting more accepted each day to talk about it. But yeast infection really? discharge ? tampons? Does one have to be disgusting in order to make a point or make oneself relevant ? There was nothing funny about it. Yessss controversy you go girl. whatever...
I still enjoyed few tiny sections here and there however the ratio of funniness was pretty much overcome by cringe and disgust.
I do recommend to watch it nonetheless, as my review is of subjective nature and also felt the need to contribute of a review due to men being called sexist upon their subject opinion on this stand-up comedy piece .
Lastly, I agree there are many relatable , funny and witty female comedians on Netflix that I'd love another special from and therefore Netflix should stop wasting money on person who's career is clearly hitting rock bottom.
