Great!
14 May 2018
This is an all time classic. What fantastic acting by the leads especially but also by every supporting character. 12 great characters stuck in a room together, with different viewpoints. A great mystery and story and a fantastic ending. This movie is a simple drama on its surface but is perfectly executed, what a perfect dramatic film!

This was a lame show. Bad writing, bad acting and just poorly done drama overall. Just not very interesting and hammy.

Spun Out was awful. I don't even want to talk about it any more than just to say that. You've been warned.

Not Bad
12 May 2018
This isn't a bad show. Some good jokes. Not much of a story but it is just short episodes of a web series. Acting is fine.

Among the Worst Shows Ever
12 May 2018
This show was really awful. Super long "prank" videos where they didn't even really get good reactions from anyone. I remember one where all they did was take a big jar of pennies into a store and pay for something with it. Super boring. All their prank videos were like 10 minutes long and went nowhere. A true car wreck of a TV show. If it wasn't for Pop Cultured with Elvira Kurt I would say this might be the worst Canadian show of all time.

Whaaaaaat?
12 May 2018
This show is such a mess I couldn't even start to describe what's wrong with it. The short answer is, EVERYTHING is wrong with it. Badly faked scenes, an unlikable and unfunny star, stupid wardrobe, a complete lack of direction, writing so bad it literally defies logic, terrible editing, enough entertaining clips to fill maybe 2-3 minutes stretched into a full hour long show... what on earth were these people thinking when they made this, and why on earth would they actually put it on air? Do they lose all their tax money they got to produce it if they don't broadcast it? Honest question because there's no way people actually would want this on their resume or out there in public if they want to work again. This show is a complete pile of steaming dog's breakfast.

Terrible
12 May 2018
This is a terrible, juvenile show. Whatever intellectual midgets they hire to produce and write this puerile garbage need to take a long look in the mirror and ask themselves: "What is wrong with me?" You're making the basest garbage the world has ever seen. Just meanness, a complete lack of creativity, entertainment or just plain human decency. This show and everyone in it, and doubtlessly everyone behind it, are all a disgrace. Absolutely disgusting.

Awful
12 May 2018
What exactly is supposed to be funny, entertaining or even watchable here? The super long boring drawn out sketches where they say the same things over and over again? The pointless talking and banter? There is no real viewpoint here and worst of all nothing even approaching the ballpark of what might be considered by most people to be funny. This show is just plain awful.

Schitt's Creek (2015– )

Bad in Every Way
22 July 2015
Schitt's Creek is just a bad show. I'm pretty insulted actually that CBC is giving it another season when everything I read says that the ratings crashed down to almost nothing and it must cost a lot of money to get these big name actors. Renewing a show before it even started airing is just stupid isn't it?

This show has a lot of problems. Levy and O'Hara and Elliott are all totally wasted. They get in the occasional good line but that's more to do with them being pro's and less to do with the material they have to work with which is garbage. The daughter is OK but the son is really atrocious and he is also the producer, director and creator of the show, so it's not like he can be fired as an actor. Why is he there? I can only assume it's because he's his father's son. Levy is a legend so who would insult him by telling him his son is awful and untalented and has to be let go?

The jokes are lame and also predictable and the plot let alone the whole premise of the show is nonsensical. How is it possible to own a town and why would any of these people act this way? We're supposed to believe they remain just as stupid and illogical after their circumstances have been changed for so long? How does anyone own a town and if they owe so much money why didn't the government also take the town away? If they own the town why don't they use that with leverage with people... since you can't own a town they must own all the buildings in it, so they could say "do this because I own your house/business and if you don't I will evict you."

Biggest question of all..... if they do somehow "own a town" (which is impossible) and hate it and are so one-dimensionally snooty about living better WHY NOT SELL THE TOWN AND BUY ONE NICE HOUSE? Or buy a new business so dad can make his fortune back?

The entire show makes no sense and it's a shame to see such legends wasted on it. I'd rather watch a much cheaper show where Levy and O'Hara just talk to an audience, answer questions and do improv. I'm not just saying that, I would seriously watch that show. As long as his son isn't also on it.

One last thing, I hate fake reviews. Like, I really really despise them. IMDb you need to figure out a way to weed out these robots or cast/crew members and their family and friends who obviously sign up just to post glowing reviews en masse. They hide all the real reviews which I found informative (and in some cases much funnier than the show itself) and I don't understand what purpose they serve anyway. Even if they trick someone into checking out the show, they're just going to see how bad it is and then not watch again. Hence the awful ratings plummet.

Match Game (2012– )

Flush Worthy
4 December 2013
This show is not worth watching in fact it is only worth flushing down the toilet. None of the comedians and actors on the show is ever funny. One girl always draws pictures, usually of a penis or something. The fat girl just shrieks and yells and screams. Every time they spin the wheel I grit my teeth because the fat guy always starts singing about how the wheel is spinning which I guess is supposed to be funny. They had John Hodgman the other day and even he was not funny but you can't blame him. The host seems to be going through the motions counting the seconds until he gets to cash his check. I swear at least half the time all their answers are penis or poo or something else related to that. Our tax dollars are paying for this garbage? Get some funny people who can keep the host and guests awake or cancel this piece of crap by flushing it and replace it with Match Game 73 which is currently airing on the game show network and is still much funnier than this show. I'm not kidding about that to be funny I seriously mean run Match Game 73 instead. Or why not rerun Kids in the Hall? That show was hilarious. What the hell is wrong with this channel that you can only make crap like that? Match Game sucks huge clackers.

A Couple And Their Friend
3 December 2013
This show wasn't the disaster some of you are saying it way but it wasn't hilarious either the truth lies someplace in the middle like it usually does. There are way worse shows on television in Canada even if you are just talking about comedy. I would say this show was funnier than Mr. D which has a star that isn't funny at all and that show has had what like four years now? I thought some of the jokes and a couple characters were pretty funny. I do think I agree that the main actors could have been more funny or better actors or whatever......to tell the truth I can't put my finger on it quite but there was something wrong with them whether it was their age or just timing for delivering jokes or how believable they or the characters were or as someone else here put it maybe they just weren't likable enough. I also agree the guy who ran the bar was awful and not funny at all but also I am not a fan of Gary he seemed to be trying really hard to be funny but wasn't. People too often drink the koolaid and either start saying "it is the worst show ever" or "it is the best show ever" when the truth is it is neither, it is an OK show that I think was canceled and won't miss too much depending on what they replace it with but if it comes back I would give it another chance. I hated the title Satisfaction though.

Package Deal (2013– )

Return This Package To Sender!
3 December 2013
Warning: Spoilers
I made myself sit through five weeks of this because nothing else was on and because I really think Harland Williams is funny. I have seen him in other shows and performing as a comic on TV and he made me laugh almost every time. I'm not saying he is awful in this because he is not the problem with this show but not even he can make me laugh on Package Deal because nothing on the show is funny. Who is writing these shows a brain dead monkey on LSD? The last episode I watched had Harland Williams strip naked in a court room to get a girl to forgive him. The thing is nobody in the entire court even reacted. Even the bailiffs just stood there. I figured maybe in this world public nudity isn't illegal (in that case why was it a big deal he would strip for the girl in the first place?) but the end of the show has him get arrested for begin naked so what the heck is going on in that courtroom? Earlier in the episode he let a girl in his brother's apartment and she stole everything. How is it possible for anyone even a team of people to steal absolutely everything from someone's entire house in one night let alone with someone sleeping in the next room and on top of that it's an apartment building in a big city with other people all over the place. But she couldn't just steal a few valuable things she had to steal all the furniture and books and pots and pans I guess because that is funnier. I think they really blew it with this show. Much like Satisfaction the lead actors are not funny. Harland Williams is obviously funny but when you only write crap for someone they can't turn it into gold, Jim Carrey couldn't even make this stuff work. It's a horribly bad premise where for some reason two brothers in their forties don't like their thirty-something year old brother's beautiful, successful girlfriend (why????) and cause problems for them. None of the episodes have made me laugh once, all of them are full of logic problems like the ones I just described, every single joke is very predictable, and it is the type of sitcom that was done many years ago and much better on American TV. Why does this show even exist?

Horses
3 December 2013
This show is worth watching if like me you love horses. I have always loved horses since I was a little girl, and for some reason most girls like horses at some point so I'm sure I'm not alone there. The acting in the show is decent, most shows like this have terrible acting so it was good to see it was actually decent in this. The idea behind the show is simple. In episode one a horse is rescued from certain death and they decide to keep it and every week there is more animal love with animals being saved or healed or rescued from cruelty or death or disease. It pulls at the heart strings but that is what the show is supposed to do obviously. There is a lot of romance in the show too. Definitely a chick flick type of show but it's worth watching.
