I make lists about pre-1940s films and actors. The best movie ever made is Gone with the Wind, that will never change.

Like a Disney Channel movie of this story.
Like a Disney channel movie of this story. Zac Efron is completely wrong for this part and made no specific acting choices to inhabit this character. This is one of the greatest roles for a male actor, and a better one would have done more justice to the part. Ted's voice and mannerisms were much more specific and Zac didn't bother with any of that. They showed no scenes of his crimes taking place. The story is done from the point of view of a girl that he briefly dated and really did not have a big role in his life. The movie did not go anywhere near as far as it could have and the casting is terrible.
Mary Poppins Returns (2018)
Is not even a shadow of its predecessor.
Since Disney is incompetent of coming up with new ideas, and must resort to using older stories they did years ago, they certainly better live up to what they're doing. This does not happen with Mary Poppins Returns. The film is terribly cast, Lin Manuel Miranda isn't anywhere near good enough or remotely right in type for the role he was given, and Emily Blunt is just practically average in every way. Disney will only use movie stars now instead of giving anyone new a chance, a grim shadow considering Julie Andrews was a newcomer given the role of Mary, and denied by competitor studio Warner Bros. for "My Fair Lady" because she wasn't a star. Also terrible considering the movie stars in this film were nothing amazing or remotely interesting.
Mary Queen of Scots (2018)
The worst period film of our time.
This film strays so much from the historical record that it's not even credible. There were no Black members of Elizabeth's Privy Council, nor were there Asian or Black handmaidens to Mary Stuart. That doesn't even make sense given this time period or politics of the day. It's diffucult to say whether the director was downright ignorant or just didn't care. There were several plot line issues that didn't make sense and the film drags in many places.
